AirPods, Order/Shipping Thread

Ordered around 6 hours after announcement in the UK. Delivery 30th December.

Is anyone else pathetically and desperately repeatedly re-checking their order status in the hope that somehow the date has moved up?

I am so bitter that I found out they were on sale so late. Normally I check MR every eight seconds and would have caught the announcement much earlier. But I'd given up on seeing the AirPod announcement any time before Christmas.

So bitter.

Quite the opposite for me! I'm normally well behind the curve, but must have looked at just the right time so my order should be delivered on Monday

I had the same experience - mine is still processing.
Since there is free express delivery for Apple in Hungary - I am hoping they will stick to the 20th of December delivery
 
I'm in Toronto and my shipping date changed from Dec 20 to Dec 29... Really pissed off.... Anybody else?

Edit: Literally the I posted this, the status changed to Preparing for Shipment but the delivery day is still Dec 29... Weird...
 
Preparing for shipment for me, Delivery was set for Dec 20th here in Ontario Canada, but got pushed to the 28th of Dec, WTF

I'm not worried about getting them for the 19th but wanted to have a tracking number so I can try and check on the day, what time they'll be arriving. Need to pop out and want to make sure I don't miss the delivery guy after all this wait!
 
Mine now says Preparing for Shipment, delivery date still says December 20th so I'm crossing my fingers that it's true. I won't believe it until they're in my ears.

Still Processing here in the UK. ETA 19th. Anyone moved to Preparing in Europe yet?

I am in the same boat. Confirmation says 20th, order page says 29th. Current status is preparing for shipment. In Toronto, ordered within the first ten minutes.

Yup, I must have ordered them within 60 seconds of the MacRumors post... Oh, well...
 
Mine went from Dec 20th delivery to preparing for shipment and Dec 28th delivery, and now just went back to "Processing Items" with a December 28th delivery

Oh man! I had an early order - initially showed Dec 20 delivery (I'm in Hamilton), then recently it changed to Dec 28th with preparing to ship:

And then a little while later is changed from Preparing to Ship to Processing Items! Wtf

I'm sure the original shipping date will be met. Especially if you've moved to preparing for shipment, as this means a unit has been allocated to you and so you are only waiting for shipping rather than manufacturing.
 
Yep, mine went back to processing as well. Looks like we aren't eating until the 28th-29th fam.

Nope mine is processing and ETA 19th. I have a suspicion the stock for the 19th will ship from the UK and the later stock will track from China. This would explain why there is no movement in the early ones. Maybe I'm just talking crap though.

AirPods back to Processing Items Delivers 20 Dec..... What on earth is going on?

Edit: Woohoo now preparing for shipment!
