AirPods, Order/Shipping Thread

Ordered at 8:30 PST this morning and already shipped 3 hours later from ATT.
Got the free standard shipping and looks like they shipped it overnight through FedEx.
It's due tomorrow :)

I'm in the same boat as well. I ordered before 9 am with expedited shipping and mine is still "In Progress"

Thats weird. I stopped at an Apple Store this morning and waited for it to open in hopes they had some. While waiting I saw all this AT&T stuff on the forums but figured I would wait until I checked the store. When they opened at 10am Eastern they had none. Jumped on my phone and ordered from AT&T and within four hours I got shipment email. They should be here tomorrow by 3pm.
 
Are you guys using that AirPods isinstock.com where they send you a notification? or is istocknow more reliable?
 
I've just been randomly checking bestbuy.com target.com istocknow.com How reliable they are I'm not sure, but I did notice that the stores in canada that they are available in on istocknow are showing on apples website as in stock as well if that helps.
 
I ordered mine on Dec 13th, they were promised Jan 12th. They came in today, and they are awesome!
 
Wondering if its a good idea to just place my order on Apple even though it shows 6 weeks and just monitor the retail stores. There is no reservation type thing right that would make me need to cancel the online order etc.?

Just wait till ATT reopens orders in the morning .. they seem to do that every day lately
 
You can cancel an apple order at any time while the status is still "processing items".

I've left my Apple pre-order open until I get shipping info on the order I placed with AT&T (which is still showing in progress)...

After ordering from Apple, I was going to patiently wait this whole thing out, but the Moto Hint I use for BT conversations has now stopped taking a charge so I'm playing the how soon can I get these darned things game.

Whatever happened to nobody wanting Airpods?? :cool:

I would just keep checking Best Buy regularly. I managed to snag one today at 2:30 pm EST for Thursday delivery so it looks like they are the best way to go.
 
I just saw Verizon changed from Out of Stock to "add to cart" didn't specify shipping date though. Ordered anyway, said free 2 day shipping...

I also saw BB changed to Add to cart from out of stock but showed 2/22/17 as the ship date, ordered anyway to see if I get lucky! Thanks!

That's what I did. I had a pending Apple order and then just checked the retailers online when I had free time. Got lucky last week and got an order in with Target when they flashed available. I cancelled my Apple and Best Buy orders.

I chose expedited shipping this morning and am getting mine tomorrow as well. The package's origin is about a 4-hour drive from where I live, so maybe it depends more on your location than shipping method.

Mine are shipping from Ft. Worth, Texas to Cincinnati, Ohio and should arrive by 3 pm tomorrow. Very impressive shipping speed!

I went on the site and it said sold out but let me add to the cart and just got notified they charged my card. I also paid for next day shipping. So we will see what happens.

Same here, just checked my card and it was charged the full amount.

Mine shipped in 4 hours of ordering with expedited shipping. Just so you know. Ordered a few mins after 10am eastern. Shipment email came at 2:05pm.
