Ordered from Verizon yesterday around 10am and FedEx shows item to be in town now with a 10:30am delivery!!!!!!

Ordered from them yesterday morning, delivered this morning at 9:50!
Thankfully I took a walk down to our mailroom to grab them as somehow Verizon just printed my company's name and first name on the shipping label (no last name even though it is on my order and confirmation email).
All said and done, these are SWEET!

Ordered on 12.14 had an original ship date of 1.13 then 1.12 and now they are on the truck for delivery today! Can't wait
Nice! Ordered 12/15 here and still stuck on "6 weeks" delivers by 2/1/2017.
Yeah the shortage is only with Apple themselves. Everyone else seems to have plenty.
I know Apple pre-order info has been superseded by other retailer availability (and I totally understand, was just a little too lazy to jump on other retailers), but:

I'd subscribed for notifications when they were available at my local Apple Store today...and they just so happened to go in stock...TODAY. They were sold out within 15 minutes.
I got mine though, I'm actually quite impressed with the sound quality, which is odd. They connect to my Macbook Pro via AAC so that's a plus on the quality side of things.
I'd always had a bit of trouble getting earpods in my ears, but these airpods are staying in just fine.

Ordered from Apple on 1/1, status still says ship by 2/22.
Found this thread, so tried AT&T online, ordered this morning and just received notification that the package was picked up by FedEx and will be delivered by 1/9 - nice!
The AT&T website didn't give an estimated ship date when I placed the order, so felt like a gamble - but looks like AT&T is getting these in stock regularly.

I'm pretty confused by the reviewers that say these sound just like the standard Earpods. Personally I think they sound pretty substantially better in both overall sound and bass response in particular.
did the same this morning. thanks to this thread, i'll have my beautiful and shiny wireless ear buds before classes resume on tuesday!
Granted I've only been testing them for about a half hour but I think they sound fantastic as well.
Just walked into the Apple Store in Fort Worth to return an item, and they had a few of these in stock. Woot!
Fedex took my note and left my stuff at my door like I wanted but now I can't wait to get out of work in ten minutes and get them off the porch!
