AirPods, Order/Shipping Thread

Just walked into the Apple Store in Fort Worth to return an item, and they had a few of these in stock. Woot!

Wow! They are on their way! Ordered at 1pm and shipped at 4pm. Only thing is they shipped USPS. Good job Att!

Grabbed another pair for my mom today Thru ATT this morning (Grabbed 2 from them already). Officially canceling my Apple order which was schedule to come on the 31st.
 
My Verizon order from 1/4 is on the truck for delivery today. My ATT order from 1/3 should be landing in my neck of the woods today, for Monday delivery.
 
From what I was told via chat, if you can order they are in stock and ready to ship. Should ship same or next day.

That said, the following morning after placing an expedited order mine still did not ship and I cancelled / ordered from Verizon. Ordered expedited and had them in hand at 10AM the next day.

Hmm interesting I'm not a customer with them but will order it anyways I'm blown away how Apple has no stock and other stores do.

Played my order and chatted with them 3-5 days is better then Apple's 6 weeks lol. Never understood why Apple is bad when it comes to backorders and shipping.

No regular shipping. They where in Ft. Worth yesterday, San Antonio today. 150 more miles to Laredo. But regular mail, so I'm expecting Tuesday delivery date. Ordered at 1 pm and shipped by 4 pm.

They don't tell you. Not even after you order. That's the risk. But they sent emails for order confirmation, preparing for shipment, and then order has shippied.
 
Ordered late last night from att.com and the order just shipped. See attached image.

Yeah I ordered early Thursday morning and got a shipped email 5 hours later. Now they're chillin in Fort Worth somewhere with a Monday EOD delivery to San Antonio!

Originally ordered from apple.com on 1/2 with a 6 week wait. Saw the successes with AT&T on here and migrated my order to AT&T this morning. Just now got a notification that they shipped.

This is why I love MacRumors forums! You guys are the real heroes. :cool:

I just placed an AT&T order an hour ago. Have an order at Apple marked for 2/24 delivery. Hoping to cancel that one and AT&T ships the next couple days!
 
I had mine on order from December 22nd, and the expected delivery date was February 14th (nice Valentine's Day gift to my self) but luckily I had signed up to a stock checker and they came in stock at my local Apple Store this morning and I scrambled to reserve a pair and I was successful. And I have to say they're amazing!

Hi guys joined to say thank you for the AT&T info. Placed an order through Apple today and got the 6 week wait time like most. Placed through att a few hours later I now have a tracking number scheduled to be delivered Monday!!
