Anyone order over the weekend and get a ship notice from VZW? My order said priority next day would be here before 10:30AM tomorrow, but no tracking number yet.

I ordered a pair I believe last Wednesday, they shipped Thursday and came Monday. I never got a shipment notification, I just checked my order status and the tracking number was populated in the order summary on Verizon's website.

AT&T have them in stock again. I ordered a set last night and they've gone to preparing to ship this afternoon.

Best Buy has them in stock too with free 2 day shipping but now it only shows earliest delivery for June 1st

As of a couple hours ago, Verizon has them in stock and ready to ship. I'd checked in with Apple (6 weeks) and Best Buy (3 weeks) but Verizon was offering overnight shipping for next day delivery and I pulled the trigger. Guaranteed delivery by 8PM tomorrow and I chatted with a customer service person online and verified with her that they are in stock and she said they had JUST gotten a new batch so I was in luck.

So, if you're getting impatient, check with Verizon.

That's what I did. I got mine through AT&T though. They overnighted mine. Used them immediately. Really like them so far

Update: they arrived at 1:15 today, so it was less than 24 hours since I ordered them. Just started using them and love 'em so far.

Just ordered some for collection from Argos [UK]. Had email alerts set up. Will be able to collect them from Thursday from my local store. Can't wait! Been waiting on these things for ages, I don't know why stock is so limited?

I got mine from O2 in the UK. They were in stock and I arranged to pick up the very next day from my local O2 shop.

Anyone know if I can order it from at & t if I am not in the us? I am coming to LV end of month and want to order it today to be delivered to the hotel .. however it ask me to pay using a US credit card

I've had mine since a few days post-launch, from Currys in the UK. Been trying to get a pair for my partner for weeks and it's almost impossible! I thought stock levels would be normal by now.

Really want Airpods from Apple but I keep thinking the waiting time ill go down - and it never does! Maybe I should just pull the trigger and wait 6 weeks or I could pay extra and get them off eBay. Is it always out of stock because they are keeping them for the iPhone 8? I hope they include them in the box

I would just order and wait. I got lucky and managed to reserve some.

I think i'll do that then. I'll be a bit frustrated if I am able to reserve them in store before they arrive but i could always return the ordered one

Exactly, just order from Apple and if you manage to get your hands on some before then either cancel the order or sell them at a markup. Win Win. Three more days until I get mine.

Thinking about buying AirPods but have a few questions:

1. How does the volume and sound quality compare to Apple's EarPods?

2. Can I use just one AirPod at a time?

3. Can I pair them with an Apple Watch Series 1?

4. Are they worth their steep price?

I would say the sound is about the volume is about the same as the EarPods and the quality is slightly better.

Yes you can use one AirPod at a time. Just leave the other one in the case.

Yes I’ve paired them with even my series 0 Apple Watch and they work fine.

For me they were worth every penny and I paid above the asking price for mine back in January as I bought mine on eBay (didn’t want to wait). They work seemlesly between all my Apple devices. No pairing and unpairing nonsense. Just carry the case around with me and I’m good to go. I charge my case every 4-5 days and I’ve never run out of battery yet.

The same or better. I think just slightly better

2. Can I use just one AirPod at a time?

Sure can. Stereo channels all be merged and split dynamically as put them in and take them out

3. Can I pair them with an Apple Watch Series 1?

Yep

4. Are they worth their steep price?

I certainly think so and they passed the cynical girlfriend test. She thought they were dumb when I got them and then bought herself a pair two weeks later. We never go anywhere without them.
