I bought the comply tips. They don’t make any difference to me in terms of keeping a seal. They may even be slightly worse.

Tempted to bin off the pros when AirPods 3 come out. Too much hassle that isn’t worth it.

I have the Complys and have generally liked them, although I could get a slight ache in my ear-holes after long listens. Then, to check how they compared, I went back to the included tips. Found that the AirPods Pros weren't as secure—in terms of both moldability and texture. I've gone back to my Complys. The slight discomfort is why I'm curious about some of the hybrids that have a silicone shell with foam interiors.

Oh well, tried the "hybrids." Went back to my trusty Complys. The hybrid ones seemed to offer, at least for me, the benefits of neither.

Charjen has still not updated their Active or Form Fitted tips in order the size you need.

I would like to try their form fitted and active tips but I do not need the small/medium tips. I need the medium/large tips. I have emailed them and they did not seem to care about my inquiry. They said they will have to see how the form fitted and active tips go well, but it has been a while.

For now I am their original tips (medium / large). Better than comply for me (were uncomfortable for me).

One issue with charjen's original tips, they lost their "memory" foam quickly and they get loose in my ears. Not sure if I should have contact them about that.

Yup, my Complys are secure and I love the sound, but they do hurt me slightly after awhile.
Well, Comply 2.0's plastic core in them was nearly sticking out foam and was very uncomfortable and it caused some pain. It took a couple days until my ears felt better.

This is exactly what I found. They slipped out on a run and were uncomfortable.

Comply are the best by a country mile, I hope Apple will offer something similar for the AirPods Pro 2, I would upgrade for that alone.

CharJens are overpriced and not good. Not worth the money.
I do not think they are overpriced @ ~$20 for 2 pairs of medium/large tips. A lot better than comply's v.1 and 2. They were very uncomfortable and I threw them away.

I do not know of better foam tips than Charjens, what do you suggest?

Comply 100% are the best. I've tried them all.
Which others besides Comply and Charjens?

Comply was the worst for me. Comply v.1 foam tips were terrible, the tips would not stay connected to the airpods pro's. It was not worth to have the airpods to fall on the ground from this issue. It was because they did not click how apple's silicone tips do. I went through 6 pairs from my original order. Only about 2 out of 12 tips would stay connected, pretty poor quality there.

Due to this issue, Comply sent me the revised "v.2" foam tips, they "fixed" the tips to click on but the core was sticking out as much as the foam. The plastic (not the foam) was poking the inside my ear. It was very uncomfortable and painful. Comply refunded me and I threw them away because they were so uncomfortable.

I concluded that Comply's tips were the worst for me. If they revise them again so the plastic core does not stick out so much, I would try them again.

I tried the SpinFit tips.

Actually think I prefer these for general listening but sadly they still fall out on a run. Only the Comply tips do not.

Sadly the Comply tips are so expensive and they degrade so quickly!

I agree I wish the Complys lasted longer but they did nail the design and material. I just ordered another set. They are perfect for me, and make my Pros my favorite earbuds ever.

The only issue I really have with the OEM tips is that APP still fall out of my ears sometimes, especially my right one (though miles better than regular AP). Comply tips basically completely fix that issue. They are very secure now. The only slight bummer is that transparency mode isn’t quite as good as with the OEMs. I specifically noticed this when I am talking on calls.

my Airpods Pro with the standard included tips would always fall out of my ears; M size was the closest to fitting but within a few minutes of wearing/walking around they'd fall out. Frustrating, basically made the Airpods Pro useless to me

bought the v2 Comply memory foam tips about a month ago - problem solved. The Medium size fit comfortably and securely, no problems staying in my ears now.

I understand this thread is old but my question is relevant for it.

What is the comprehensive decision on Charjen's Pro Active tips? It has been a little difficult keeping their "form" tips sealed.

Complys all day long... I use the L from apple, and ordered all L from Comply. The Apple L would slide out of my ears if I had them in for longer then 20 minutes. Complys v2 (I had v1 and used them for almost a full year until they started popping off) are great, and much better than v1.

All of you with Comply’s tips, can you please confirm if the ANC and transparency are affected in any way?
Obviously I would expect the physical isolation to be improved by the foam, but is the ANC impacted negatively in any way?
I am aware there a number of sensors that could be affected by a tip that is not designed appropriately.

EDIT: I've checked the reviews on Amazon, and for every review saying that these improve "Noise Cancellation" there is also one that says that "Noise Cancellation" has declined.
This makes me think that some people don't quite grasp the difference between 'Active Noise Cancellation' and 'Noise Isolation'.
If they were half the price I would just go ahead and give them a try, but at £22 GBP for three pairs I am not willing to just try blindly, especially as the first time I would have to get the mixed sizes set and only one pair will be usable.

Thanks

Like you I blanched at paying £22 every few months (also in the U.K.). Then I realised that I was prepared to pay £1000 each for my current iPhone and my iPad, £200+ for the AirPods, £500 for a watch, £100s on cables, chargers etc etc not to mention streaming services and realise I’m just being silly. Going to see Disclosure last night cost me more than a years supply of tips.

However you don’t say that you are unhappy with the standard tips so I am not sure where you are coming from. I bought because I was curious and listening to live & recorded music is my main hobby. I find that I enjoy the sound and the tips don’t work lose. I use medium as I do with the standard tips. ANC / physical isolation / transparent mode all work but my hobby is listening to music not doing endless comparisons.

What is the comprehensive decision on Charjen's Pro Active tips? It has been a little difficult keeping their "form" tips sealed.

In order to update my post, I sent my whole Airpods Pros (both pods and case) to Apple to repair my left pod because it would not seal with the original tips that came with the pods. Same with Charjen tips, would not seal the left pod.

AAPL "repaired" the left pod and I have no idea what the issue was but they quickly sent them back.

I think the airpods pro's noise cancelation feature is not good enough. I can hear through it. I carefully made sure had everything set correctly. I might need to buy the Max headphones.
