I did some more "testing" with the new CharJen Active 2.0 tips, and they definitely have less bass than the Comply 2.0 tips or the stock Apple tips. It's quite noticeable (I used The Weeknd's "Starboy" as my test song).

There's also less noise cancelation from these CharJen's, so I'm guessing that I'm not getting a great seal from them (I've used the Small and Medium tips - same level of noise cancelation). The Comply 2.0's and Apple's tips sound almost identical in terms of bass and NC, but the CharJen tips just don't stack up. If you don't listen to music that contains a lot of bass, these will probably work for you just fine.

I've been looking for larger tips for my AirPods Pro. Any recommendations? I haven't used my Pros in forever since I can't get a good seal and take advantage of the 'pro' benefits.
I think you’re out of luck. Everyone is limited to a size that fits within the charging case. My v2 Comply’s barely fit in the case as it is. I don’t see how they could get any larger.

In fact, the foam tips for my AirPods Pro are the smallest foam tips I’ve ever seen. I’ve had other Comply tips and even the old small size is larger than the AirPods Pro Large size. I think that’s part of the reason that the sound isn’t improved as much as I expected.

Bass seems excellent on mine, I always found the Comply tips quite bassy, these seem similar to the Apple tips.

Got my CharJens today too, now testing. Initial fit and sealing better than with the original tips. I’m thinking if it just that they are clean, though :)

I really liked APPs when they were new, (bought on launch), but had been more and more disappointed in them as time passed. Now with CharJens I can enjoy them again. I would have to compare with fresh Apple tips to be able to say if it is the CJ tip or the dirt in the old ones that makes the difference.

but then again the comply foam tips are quite small. the Large set is smaller than Apple's own L tips.

I don’t find that to be the case. They seem very similar to me, with the exception that comply compress down and expand within the ear.

I started with their 1.0, very comfortable... but the tips would fall off the airpods. They resolved that issue when I got 2.0s... I found them very uncomfortable, due to the core that nearly stuck out the foam and couldn’t make them stay seal with the test. I’m back with apple’s silicone tips for now. Annoyed that Charjen only sells some of their tip options that come with S/M & M/L together. I use the large silicones, the S/M tips are worthless for me in the pack. I’m not ordering their active or form tips until I can order the right size.
I ordered charjen’s original tips to try them, mainly because comply‘s v.1 &2 didn’t work for me. Also because charjen doesn’t offer their other options only as medium / large for the fit form tips. The active tips are only available in small/ medium/ large together in 1 order.

I emailed them about the active tips about ordering the only large tips and they said-

“If Active multiset does well in the next couple of months, then we can consider making same sized sets. “

what would I do with the small and medium tips that come with an active tips order? Worthless for me when I need large tips. They have an interesting way to release their products.

I feel like I’m the only person in the world that this doesn’t help. I’ve tried with different sized foam tips inside both the medium and large apple tips, and they actually fall out faster.

I’ve also tried a couple of the eBay foam tips made specifically for the AirPods Pro, and they don’t work better than the stock tips.

The large size apple tips fit best for me, but the fit could be better.

So, on a whim, I decided to try the comply V2. I’ve had them a few days, and so far, seem to be working quite well. Haven’t tried them on a run yet, but looks very promising. Interestingly, the size small comply tips fit the best for me, even though I use the Large Apple tips. I also tried the medium comply tips, but after a while, music would stop playing because the phone thought the AirPods were disconnected, even though they felt pretty good in ear.

Hey, guys, my airpods pro keeps slipping out my ears at work which is pretty super annoying as half my work time i'm on the phone, i tried all the apple included tips with no help, they kept slipping out.

i have ordered dekoni tips based on how much everyone praise them over the internet ( even Zeos) and i received the sample pack from Amazon today i was really excited to try them, first the packaging is really cheap for 30$ memory foam tips! not even a box included to put them in ( some 10$ memory foam tips has boxes).

1- the sound: no matter what tips size i have tried, no matter what position they are in my ears, everything below 100hz seems gone once i tried them. i tried to squeeze them and put them in but no changes whatsoever and highs are not as crisp, the sound feels just mids playing in your ears.

2-comfort: they seems pretty much less comfy as the back part of the memory tips hits your ear canal compared to apples tips

3-slippage: they stay in your ears pretty good, they seems to have some any slip coating.

TLDR: i paid almost 45$ for them including the importing costs, and i'm pretty disappointed. The sound is way too much worse

I’m currently looking at the AirFoam Pro and the Symbio tips. Anyone have any experience with the Symbio tips?

I didn’t realize Symbio now makes tips for APP (previously, you had to buy their tips, remove the foam from their silicone tip and put it into the APP silicone - a process described earlier in this thread). Anyone know whether in their complete solution the silicone is bonded to the foam?

The right tip on my AirPods Pro keeps slipping out - the medium one seems to be too big and falls because it's not all the way in, and the small one seems to be too small and slips out. Left one is fine, I guess I have a weird right earhole.

For comparison, I used to have the "regular" AirPods and, while the right one very occasionally slipped out when running, it usually held in place. The right one now slips out even if I'm sitting.

What's the consensus on the best replacement tips? Is it the AirFoams Pro Active 2.0 + Ear Hooks? I'm willing to pay a little extra if it means a secure fit without compromising sound quality or noise cancellation.

Having to remove the ear hook every time I put them in the case would be a deal breaker for me
I had to use those with the original AirPods but so glad these Air Pod Pros fit in my ear securely without the need of hoods. Game changer.

Does it pass the Ear Tip Fit Test on your iPhone ? Did you try running it with these Comply V2 on ?

I got AirFoams Pro Active 2.0 and Ear Hooks. Work great together.

Totally agree. I’ve just got some Pros and I use the medium included tips, was expecting them to fall out during running, but they don’t! Was going to order some hook things for them but now I don’t think I need to, been on 2 runs now and they are very secure, even more so that some Sony’s I own that have built in hooks
I really don’t know how Apple have done this, maybe it’s the shape of the bud itself fitting better into the shape of the ear

Got the char Jen pro active. Not sure if what I think yet. Love the idea. Fit is good. The sound upon initial impressions is changed significantly from the comply but not In a good way for me. Way boomy. Need more time tho. Just threw on a few songs real quick. Will. Report back.

I actually really really like them now. Weird. They do not isolate as well as foams (duh) but they are way better than Apple silicone and seal better.

Bought the CharJen 2.0. The fit works very well for me and they stay in my ears. I don't know why, but unfortunately for me they have less bass than the stock tips which really detracts from me using them. Not sure where I am going next.
