Actually all ear tips need replacing. I replaced my stock Apple silicone ear tips because it was getting yellow and worn out and also my numerous foam tips.

So, not sure where you got "doesn't need replacing" as they clearly made a comparison with socks: "eventually needs to be replaced." and "All ear tips, whether it is Apple's original silicone or foam DO NOT LAST FOREVER."

It's good that they try to set expectations with the sweat, oil, wax section.

I think they want to let people know these last longer than foam tips but does need replacing, not as frequently.

Regardless, it looks like a great ear tip solution and backed them as well.

If anyone who hasn't seen it yet:

They look good to me. I have 6 sets of Comply tips for now... when they are worn out, I'll try Charjen's new tips next.

I've had two pairs from them. The initial ones popped off, as well as the replacements. They were useless!

Glad to see they are doing right by me, however.

I got that email as well but it just links me to buy new ones at $24. Does yours say anything about giving you a new set?

I just read the first line 'in the coming weeks', so guess I'll wait until they send me another email. I'm glad in a way because first time around I picked the wrong size

Looks like not everyone who got 1.0 complys will get 2.0’s free. I got my comply tips in July and all of them pop off. I had to stop using them because they would get stuck in my ear. I just reached out to them to ask for replacement 2.0’s. And I got this response:

Thank you for your message! We are very sorry that this happened with your tips, and I can assure you it is not the experience we want our customers to have.

We are sad we didn't hear from you before now, we want all of our customers to have the best experience our Comply™ tips. Please use this coupon code to get your AirPods Pro 2.0 for 20% off: Yayfor2.0

Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime. Thank you again for your patience and continued support.

20% off is not sufficient when the company has admitted liability for health threatening defects. We should all be receiving warnings not to use them together with a replacement or refund offer. Product, shipment and customs charges to the U.K. were about £40 for a product too risky to use.

I 100% agree. I can’t believe they didn’t offer replacements, I was so disappointed.

That’s weird. I wonder why I have been offered a free replacement?

Did you raise a support ticket with them? That’s what I did.

I wonder if it’s only free if people have been through the support process.

I did a support ticket but just two days ago, you are probably right, they only are giving to people who had them previously. Still, they should give anyone who purchased 1.0’s replacements since they acknowledge that they are faulty.

Comply sent me same email about needing to complain before they announced 2.0. They offer up a $5 discount on a new order.

I did place an order for 2.0 and should have them by Wednesday. Hope they stick. Don't know if there are any other differences.

I definitely need these. I had the airpod pros since July and honestly I use my wired earpods more because they airpod pros are uncomfortable/ they are always falling out of my ear, even when doing simple things like walking. Specifically the left one falls out the most. Not sure if I have a weird shaped left ear or what LOL. The Airpod 2s were more comfortable and stayed in my ears better.

Ever since I have used foams, Dekoni or comply, they don’t budge and I don’t even think about them falling out anymore.

I replaced the default silicone ear tips on my AirPod Pros with Dekoni's new foam tips. They don't move around at all, they're cheaper than Comply tips, and you can machine wash them if necessary.

They were not cheaper than comply for me. Comply gave me 3 pair for $24 while Dekoni was 1 pair.

Agreed. Comply is cheaper per pair. I’ve bought both and liked the Comply’s better. I was angry when I received my package from Dekoni and realized I only got one pair.

I just received the Comply Tip 2.0. So far so good. Way better than those silicon ear tip apple provides and it's very comfortable. will have to keep an eye on it. I heard the original one had some issues.

So, for those of you who went with Dekoni, how long do they last for you? They do give better isolation (so more bass and better ANC), and I can even get the fit test to pass (doesn't happen with stock tips), but they lose their memory properties quickly. After about 2-3 weeks they just stay in the "inflated" shape, they feel "springy", but don't really compress for longer, like they did when new. And I'm not a heavy user - about 1h daily on average. I tried cleaning them with water and drying, but that didn't change a thing, so out of curiosity, I tried cleaning with alcohol (hoping to remove sweat residue) - the filter came unglued and they started to crack. So, I'm happy with the way they sound, but it seems I'd have to buy a new 3-pack every 2 months. Is such a short lifetime normal with these?

I have had them for four months, yes they lost their memory foam bounce back but they still don't fall out of my ear like the apple silicones do so I am happy with them. If you just leave them on the air pods and just lightly clean them, they should be fine for a long time. Get the new char jen 2.0 if the ear grime on the Dekoni's bother you too much!
