I do work in the medical field. But I wasn't expecting a dissertation on my comment but thanks.
Being an MD you should then know that there is bacteria everywhere. So when you remove it from one place until it touches another sure its bacteria free. And nowhere am I saying its a bad idea to do it, its just not really necessary very often in the case of electronics and such.

Yeah, sorry about that "dissertation" haha, I think it is the doctor in me.

But anyway, I only clean it with the alcohol if sweat gets on them or if it has been a while since I have cleaned them. Most of the time I just wipe them down with a microfiber cloth. Plus, I am OCD and like to keep all my products clean and looking brand new, but especially my Apple products.

Anyway, if you do not mind answering, what do you do in the medical field?

I want sound isolating earphones for the train

I was close to buying the Powerbeats 3 today because they were on sale but the reviews scared me lol?

Noise isolation is decent for a train but they are best at random, wide spectrum sounds such as a coffee shop. Active noise cancellation headphones are significantly better for use in trains, planes, buses, etc... anyplace there is repetitive, lower frequency noise from things like engines, fans, air conditioning, etc.

The best in-ear on the market appear to be the Bose QC30 or QC20. I have both and definitely prefer the QC30 for both sound quality and noise cancellation. There is more debate on over the ear headphones. Bose and Sony seem to get the most love in this catagory.

Okay so I have just got them and I am liking them far

Can I ask a few questions....
Is there a way to find out how much battery is left on the case from your computer or can you only find this on your phone widget?

Also when you're charging the case on your computer/laptop do you have to eject it manually like you do with removable disks or is this not necessary?

I don’t think there’s a way to know the battery left on the case from your computer.

There hasn’t been a need of manually ejecting any usb upnp device since at least a decade now.

Okay I am really enjoying these so far

Does anybody know how to make the music louder using Spotify?

The volume is really low even when I have it set on almost full bars.....do I have to turn of 'enable audio normalisation' or change the settings somehow?

Yeah turn Normalisation off.

I also stream/download at Extreme quality...you may need to sign out/in again after changing this setting.

There's a new setting under Normalisation called Volume Level, which I only noticed recently. I think it's an extension to the Normalisation setting as you can't change it unless Normalisation is on. It's a little confusing though as "Loud" 'reduces dynamics' & "Quiet" 'preserves dynamics'....I thought it would be the other way around, unless I'm reading it wrong? Anyone played with this yet?

Yes I am streaming on extreme quality

Just surprised how low it is or is it just me or do I have a faulty set of AirPods lol? I wouldn't think you would have to turn the volume all the way up to get some loud music...?
Do you find Spotify to be too quiet?

It was quiet, but Normalisation fixed it for me. Usually listen at 70-85% volume. Full volume's too loud.

Also keep in mind that older music may not be recorded loudly. Are you listening to new music or obscure, older stuff?

Older music probably...
I am using Apple Music now anyway mainly because Spotify was draining my battery...Will use Spotify on my Mac though.
