I am still hoping that the iPhone 15 with a titanium chassis (if that is true) and usb c connection will move towards what I desire in a phone (add lightness and a universal connection: now we just need a phone that does not self destruct when you drop it without a case). But I won’t know until we can actually see one we can actually touch. It seems vaguely ludicrous that we are now debating what may be available in an iPhone 16. We don’t even know for sure what is in the 15. But I suppose it is nice to dream. Just don’t make decisions on these dreams just yet.

I'm kinda over the big phones now. I have a 13 pro max and it has become very uncomfortable especially with those sharp edges.

But.. what about the 15? Shouldn't that be the focus since it's the next model? Why are we hopscotching over it?

I've created a Change.org petition to skip iPhone 15 and release iPhone 16 this year instead.

Please sign.

At this point, i think the 15 is just going to be a 14 with a higher price tag and maybe a new color. That's why all the attention is on the 16.

I'm pretty ok with the phone getting slightly longer. I just wish it actually got ever so slightly narrower as well so that it's easier to grip. Also, could Apple refresh the home screen design. That array of app icons is feels inefficient. Now we'll get even more white space between app icons.

13 mini doesn’t even feel or look ‘mini’ at all. It feels like a normal phone size. Hopefully they do an SE mini or something in this size by the time I need a new phone. I will never buy a ‘max’ size phone. I’m keeping it in my pocket, not a purse or fanny pack or whatever they expect you to do with those massive phones. I use my phone with one hand, and the mini is plenty large for whatever I need a phone for.

Yes, it was brought up in previous discussions. What people found, when they looked at the specs, was that the screens on the 14Pro were made taller by the same amount as the island grew. The result was that the content area beneath the island was the same as the area under the notch. Win win.
Interesting. I didn’t know the 14Pro had a slightly bigger screen. Thanks for the info!

I remember hehe

The iPhone X was an ideal size for me. Perfect in the pocket and in the hand. The 14 pro with its 6.1 is still "acceptable" in terms of size, but 6.3 for the smallest iPhone seems exaggerated to me, and of course, 6.9 seems crazy to me... it's like an iPad mini . This trend already happened with old phones... at some point they will have to decrease again... I want something comfortable to enjoy, not a piece of metal to carry. If I want to see content on a larger screen, I have a laptop, tablet, television... I don't need my phone to be that big.
