Yes. All the forum members and YouTube influencers and people on the street are really Apple employees, in an attempt to keep you buying.

Your relatives and friends? Yes, those as well. Apple provides the whole package.

EDIT: Oh ****, now Apple is firing me, HR just called.

It's all part of the simulation :D

People should stop saying "Am I the only one" when they are expressing a popular opinion, or at times even the majority opinion. Say it only when you see almost ZERO other person sharing the same opinion. But it is widely known that many people are not satisfied with the 15 Pro.
A vocal collection of people on the internet seem unhappy. Many are probably hypochondriacs, to be honest. There are some people that always seem to have trouble with technology; must be the tech and not the user, sure. But that doesn’t mean that it’s “widely known“ that there is dissatisfaction with the 15 Pro. I’m sure some devices are acting up. Mine hasn’t. But because some people allegedly have such problems with this phone, the phone is clearly a mess. Yeah right.

Society today is littered with folks who use their own personalized worldview to try to bend everyone else’s reality. It’s getting very old, and very destructive.

There is nothing “wrong” with the ”iPhone 15 Pro”. Some people may have issues, as always happens with tech. There is no systemic issue. Enough of this attention-seeking negativity, it’s truly toxic.

EDIT: To clarify, this is not to say there aren’t prevalent SOFTWARE issues that can be fixed with an update. I’m saying this reflexive “this DEVICE is bad” stuff is really bad.

The level of entitlement and jaded first-world-ism with people these days is also astronomical.

I'm really not liking the iPhone 15 Pro. Some of it is probably iOS 17 bugs but man, typing is still a chore, even after 17.1.1. It gets laggy and doesn't register touches always.

The audio recording automatically starts randomly in messages.

The animations get laggy.

In spotlight search some of my keys are highlighted for some reason.

I should have kept my 13 Pro - it was flawless (though I never had iOS 17 on it).

Just venting.
I think it’s the new iOS. Every time we get the yearly big release it takes almost another year to get all the bugs ironed out.

I’d love to be back on iOS 16 - they had that running perfectly.

Mine works fine, though mine was purchased some time after initial release.

It's very quick. Does get very warm at times using inductive charging (warmer than I'm used to). So I usually just plug the cable in.

I replaced an iPhone XR, which was a replacement for an iPhone 5. So I definitely am economical with my buying habits.

If you ask me: ofcourse you should have kept your 13pro. No reason to replace a perfectly working phone, that is almost new. The only thing that replacing a iphone with a new one every two years does is wasting recourses in a huge and unnecessary way.
Just keep your phone for 4 or 5 years and after that you will actually be happy when you get a new one 😇

Its just buyers remorse , we all deal with it.
Do we? For me a new device either lives up to the advertising being the best iPhone ever made and all that, or if it has some noticeable performance issues like the UI stuttering despite the 120Hz display I return it. There should not be any such obvious issues on a $999 phone. My older Pixel 6 Pro with a 120Hz display manages not to stutter so my expectations for the latest Pro iPhones certainly aren't crazy.

There were some hardware issues but also, I’m sick of giving money to a company that puts out faulty products.

Vote with your wallet.
What hardware issues did you have? Seems most issues related to 15 Pro and Pro Max reported have been resolved with software. Some issues with the titanium finish, but not many specific hardware issues have been reported. My 15 Pro Max has been absolutely flawless from a hardware perspective.

Hi I'm new here on my first iPhone since the iPhone 4 🤣 Been on Android all these years and I'm loving my 15 Pro Max. Performance is smooth love the animations, cameras and battery life is brilliant. Only time I've seen the very occasional lag is unlocking the phone using Face ID but doesn't happen much only sometimes.

While I definitely think most of the issues are stemming from iOS 17 and not directly because of the hardware it runs atop of.. IMHO the iPhone 15 Pro/Max is a very polished device, although I would have liked to see apple redo their thermal cooling scheme with the introduction of the 17 Pro.. I think that was a missed opportunity and brought on the numerous comments concerning overheating..

This is the norm unfortunately.. iOS 16 has it's issues as well, as did iOS 15 and so forth.. If we hit .3 or .4 of the OS they should have had plenty of time to round out some of the edges. I do believe we are do for another iOS 12-ish type of release where it's bug fixes and performance optimization instead of the onslaught of new feature changes.

I think hardware is fabulous just one thing I wish for is that the zoom camera had less shaky OIS. Feels a tad wobbly to me

The overheating was painful.

The “action” button is a pain

I was having voicemail issues and dropped call issues too

There's a very good reason for the lag though. The screen refresh lowers to 1Hz to conserve battery, but when you wae it up, it shoots up to 120Hz really fast. I'm guessing that sometimes you catch it in the middle of a refresh cycle, so it has to play "catch-up" and therefore lags or skips the animation.

Not really sure if this is fixable, or just the nature of trying to run the screen at 1Hz.
I have this issue with my Iphone 14 pro too, from wake to being responsive to type my passcode has always been slow on my iphone 14 pro. I didnt have the issues on my 12 mini. I suspect this is the refresh adjustment from 120hz to 1hz.

I'm sure it's easily fixable but as I said the lag doesn't happen much at all. Coming from a recent Pixel 8 Pro this phone is like better compared to that. The Pixel 8 Pro was lag central with scrolling

I have none of those with my 15 Pro Max. Speak to Apple.

Edit: The only criticism I have is when the backlight is dim in the evenings it's obvious that the colour temperature of the screen is a lot warmer at the top than at the bottom of the screen. It's nightshirt so it's supposed to take on a warm hue, so it's the bottom of the screen staying blue that's the problem. I haven't decided whether I care enough to ask for a replacement.

Anyone else got the warm/cold colour temperature disparity from the top to the bottom of the screen with the backlight set to low while nightshirt is on?

Yes. Out of the 10s of millions sold so far, you are, for sure, the only one with any disappointment.

Just switch to Android and get it over with.

The night time camera absolutely blows compared to the 13PM camera. Went out and recorded a rocket launch recently at night and the 15PM video is blurry and utter garbage, the 13 was crisp, clear and looked great. I’m leaning towards the 15 being a misfire for sure, wish I kept my 13.
