No major hardware or software issues here honestly (outside of custom ringtones but I know that's fixed in 17.1!).

I feel bad for everyone who does have genuine issues though.

Loving my launch day 15 Pro black 256 and have experienced no problems at all. I’m even enjoying the Apple silicone case, but will probably pick up a Bullstrap leather case when they become available.

Natural 256gb here too. No issues at all. It does get hot with extended video recording but it’s no different from my 14PM, never any “too hot” messages.

15PM 1tb, not one issue. Did a restore from 14PM 1tb.

I find it oddly convenient how almost all the established YouTube reviewers all have the same issues.

I've had zero issues since launch day. I also just updated to iOS 17.0.3 with zero issues there either.

The overwhelming majority of people are having no issues with their new 15* phones. Thing is, most people won't go through the trouble of creating a thread/post saying "Yup, phone working as expected". For that reason, people that are having issues, even though they are a very small minority, will be over-represented in the forum postings because, for good reason, they're much more likely to make posts talking about their issues.

My phone, my wife's phone, and my son's phone, all 15 Pro Max devices, are working perfectly.
Therefore this one is a useful thread.
15 Pro, no issues.

15 Pro 256 GB no issues after one week. Even during setup the device was pretty cool.

The previous 12 Pro on the other hand … is on it’s way to recycling.

Launch day 15 Pro Max, no major issues so far. I checked thermals while using MagSafe charging and it didn't overheat. Running Genshin Impact on high graphical settings for 30 minutes (phone unplugged from charging), the highest recorded surface temperature via IR thermometer was 38ºC (100.4ºF) directly above where the logic board is located. Charging was never put on hold, nor was there an error about high temperatures so the phone only got warm but doesn't count as overheating.

Battery life was initially poor for the first 3 days but this was due to background indexing/syncing, it evened out over time and now it's good. I usually start the day with 80% (optimised limit) and reach home with around 45% on an average 8-hour work day.

I have the blue Pro Max 256 and not a day of heating or any issues and I watch lots of YouTube and Facebook videos on my phone.

I upgraded to the natural titanium 15 pro max 256gb from 12 pro max.

From battery issues to overheating, screen burn in, even software issues. Thankfully I haven’t had a single problem.

Just wondering if there are others completely happy with their new iPhone.
What are you doing⁉️

I haven’t read on, but I’m praying Macrumors hasn’t helped you ‘find’ issues & caused you to return your iPhone by page 3.
😏

Launch day Pro, only problem I've had is mail doing background activity for hours and hours, fixed that in the settings, no problems since.

15 Pro Max 256GB here. My favorite iPhone in years. Feels great in hand, lighter weight makes it more comfortable to hold, 5x camera is actually useful to me (3x wasn't worth the quality tradeoff IMO to not use the main sensor), action button is great (I use a shortcut for camera during daytime, flashlight on lowest brightness at night.) And USB-C is great - I'm planning on phasing out all of my lightning devices in the next year.

No issues except the fact that apple messed up suggested archive folders in mail.
Really a pain to have to do this manually every time.
But that’s a iOS 17 issue not a 15 PM issue.

Nope, I’m not having any issues either. Phone got warm on transferring from old phone, as typical, but I’ve had no heat issues, no finish issues, no display issues, no battery issues, no connectivity issues. I also posted before and after screenshots of Geekbench 6 scores pre/post iOS 17.0.3 showing no change in scores.

Edit: 256GB Natural Titanium 15 Pro Max
