I'm on the GM from last week and I'm not seeing anything yet. So maybe GM is the final release. Though if so I'm not sure why WatchOS 4 isn't showing up for me.

I’m assuming this is the same build as the GM released last week. I’m not seeing anything on my iPad or my iPhone.

Bummer. Still seeing bugs with messages that are highly annoying.

Downloaded it within a few minutes. Should I install or wait? I'm still scarred by a previous early in the day install.

Updating now. I normally wait a week. Hopefully there are no HUGE issues.

Download complete, installing... this has been the quickest IOS update for me as well

For real, the download was complete in under 4 minutes. Installation is taking a little longer though.

Uploaded to both my iPhone and iPad. Installing on both now (i.e. Apple logo on screen with progress bar).

Omg it's so fast!!!
I've just installed it on my iPhone 7 and the phone is running faster than before I'm speechless. Cannot wait to see it on my iPad pro once it's done installing

I cannot believe this 15A372 GM is the final release, it is so buggy, and horrible battery drain. Was really expecting a refined version today. Honestly quite shocked. I hope 11.0.1 gets released within a few days.

You have to understand that they're locked in on the version as that's what they're loading in the factory once it's deemed to be GM. That isn't to say that if enough bugs are reported, that Apple couldn't release an 11.0.1 release soon - it's happened before. I'm sure they have internal metrics that dictate when there's enough fixes to justify a .x or .0x release.

Edit: Also, your experience may not be typical...you may want to go through some troubleshooting (backup and wipe your device, etc). You could have some runaway apps that are killing your battery.
