Looks like we got ourselves a bitter betty.. :)

Let's wait for the outcome, shall we? :D

No sweetheart. I am not bitter because I have never been (knock on wood) scorned by eBay or the likes. This would have had to occur for me to be bitter. I tend to stay away from the too good to be true deals and if that means I have to pay more, then I take comfort in knowing I don't need to start a thread to outline my foolishness with one hand while I proclaim I am doubly covered so no harm no foul with the other. It is far too much stress for me.

I hope you get your machine, I really do and I hope you enjoy it, but I am a realist ... it comes with age I think. ;)

She has always been that way.:(
It might ship today, and then by Thursday you will have it, he should show some feedback by tonight!

O rly? Net stalk much? ;)

According to the ship notification it was sent in a priority mail large flat rate box.. so the latest would be tomorrow.

if he sent it out late thursday or friday then i would think tomorrow is more feasible. so dont hit the panic button if it doesnt come in today, if the mailman stops by wednesday with his hands empty then you

When I had talked to him via email, he said the package was going to ship today, so that means Friday for me. I need it to update though, lol. Crossing my fingers, if you could also create a youtube video of you unboxing it, it would help some of the naysayers. *crossing fingers*

No idea, but I dont think you would have enough patience once it gets there to set everything up, I wouldnt, I think pictures would suffice though. lol, This thread has kicked some much needed juice into the Air forums.

I can't believe I'm responsible for a 10 page thread.. let alone an "amazing deal on ebay" thread..

I have a 300+ 100% feedback ebay account registered since 1998, and I've never been "scammed" I really hope this isn't the first! :D

I've bought some stuff that wasn't as advertised and have been through "the process" a few times though.. Its not fun..

I've also been through "the process" and it has been very easy.

Bought a $500 Amazon gift card on ebay that I never received. Filed a paypal dispute and my money came back in a couple weeks.

Took about 2 minutes of total work online. Never had to go to the credit card company

I feel you on that one. People just tend to be negative in the day and age. Maybe the economy has something to do with it, but let us not get into consumer spending habits, lol.

I think some people find entertainment in seeing others fail and other people's misery. this is why people are glued to their tv's and follow news reports when something terrible happens.

Plus people love feeling high and mighty when it turns out they were right, if its a scam they will feel good about themselves and fill this thread with "i told you so's" if it turns out to be legit they will wither away and dissapear without saying another word

just the way of the world i guess.

I think people are just jealous that someone saved some scratch when they themselves paid full price.

Well as they say "if something seems to good to be true, it usually is." Im still sitting on the fence, I will believe it when I see it.

Or the more likely, less malicious explanation? Maybe there are a few people with common sense that are just wary of scams with multiple warning bells?

What is the seller's Pay Pal status? Time account has been opened? Positive transactions? Give me the seller's Pay Pal ID so I can look those things up.
