It's a link to a wonderful song that questions promises, and AMD/ATI are well known for making promises that don't stand up to questioning.

It's a nice song, enjoy it.
I have not seen anywhere AMD promising anything. If you have a link I will be grateful for it.

P.S. I know who is Dionne Warwick, I know that song, however I prefer this one with Promises in title:

You need do nothing more than look on this thread for posts by a member named "koyoot" - for example https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...s-announcements.1975249/page-44#post-23766781 .[/quote]

The song is by Burt Bacharach - Dionne Warwick was just one of the first artists to cover it. There are many other versions around.

And thank you for the other link - that was a very nice song. One question though - is her synthesizer using the 16 core or the 32 core version of Zen? Nice that it's so power efficient that it can be hand-cranked. ;)

I do not see any promises made by Raja in that link. He was talking about what AMD has done, and is doing in software and hardware side, and explaining a lot of technical stuff.

If you are asking about Zen. Intel is really feeling hot under the collar because right now they are preparing this: http://fudzilla.com/news/processors/42111-intel-seems-to-be-going-for-overclockers

End of off-top.

Edit: Also, about previous post on the conversation. Brand Reset means different naming scheme's, pricing scheme's, etc. I was not able to get anything about performance levels of CPUs and GPUs from the guy.

So AMD won't be the one to power Google Cloud Platform in 2017. They'll be just one option available instead while NVidia with this deal is now present on ALL major cloud providers.
And who said that AMD would be the only option?

Good for Nvidia, great for Google that they used Tesla GPUs.

You did in post #1134 when you said: "AMD will power Google Cloud Platform in 2017."
Not "will be one option" or "be available on" but "AMD will power Google Cloud Platform in 2017."

You presented it as an absolute fact.

This is just L O L. Im sorry but its not even worth explaining everything to you.

I'm not a mod either, but if you'd like to discuss Google Cloud Platform, perhaps create another thread somewhere else? :)
