One more thing about Vega. Typical core clock in those benchmarks AMD presented the GPU was around 1350 MHz, so around the performance of iMac Pro Radeon Vega 64 GPU core clocks.

Fully stable, full blown RX Vega will be faster. MUCH faster, because of 1.6 GHz core clocks.

Sebbbi from Beyond3D forum already got his FE GPU :). Well, we can get amazing analysis over next few days :).

This is Sebbbi's work: https://forum.beyond3d.com/threads/claybook-xo-ps4-pc.60093/ for anyone who is interested, why I "promoted" his opinions in the past. There is no other developer, that I know of, on any forum that would have such knowledge of GPU architectures, both Nvidia and AMD.

Device ID is different than the Engineering samples would suggest.

Lower price, and 90/180 day warranty.
I think some have one year warranty. This would seem to break rules in the EU.

The ASUS mining card fans have ball bearings like the Sapphire.

It seems the NVIDIA ASUS mining cards have a logo instead of additional vents

Is it just me or the new color schemes are fugly?! What happened with AMD to come up with these horrible colors?
I guess the LED/Neon/whatnot guys will love these but, really?
Looks apart, performance seems to be there.

the stock cooler on Ryzen actually looks pretty cool and I'm guessing they were going for a similar thing here except it's terribly executed.

as a marketing person I kind of want to work at AMD just so I can smack whoever makes these decisions.

Mining has been tested on Vega. 31MH/s average due to the limitation of the Ethash algorithm. That means anything from 290X to the latest best GPUs (from Nvidia too) score the same.

No difference in performance between Pro and Gaming drivers.
Disappointing.

In gaming it's no better than 1070 OC /1080.

In mining its limited by Ethash algo to the same score as usual.

Compute is still to seen.

My 295x2 appears to beat it overall. It's 2 GPUs on a card but that's irrelevant because I paid £350 for it.

I posted this: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...s-announcements.1975249/page-78#post-24743038
before anyone came up with any numbers, for this GPU.

My suggestion. Do not take any conclusions about this architecture, yet.

Hardly. Wherever I look the price of RX 470 mining edition is higher than consumer version from last year.

If Nvidia or AMD were truly releasing mining cards they would make them X1 PCIE interface (used by mining rigs) and small format.

Then the miners would stop hurting prices for the rest of us.

OpenCL score.

Frontier Edition only got 4700 in Luxmark Hotel Lobby. It's much better than a single GPU Fiji.

The two fastest cards on this benchmark : Titan XP and Radeon 295x2 get around 5500.
