Good news!
I flashed Radeon Pro VII with Radeon VII vbios, and now it works on Mojave.

I used rufus-4.6 to create FreeDOS drive and amdvbflash_dos_4.68.exe
I used radeon_vii.pro_gop vbios modified by Bmju in this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...s.2378942/page-27?post=32824599#post-32824599
It won't flash without additional special commands, so instead of simple -p command i used multiple commands to bypass checks and restrictions -p -fa -fp

As expected, card started to behave like normal Radeon VII and under full load quickly became too hot and too loud. So i used PowerPlay table for Radeon VII clock speed 1645MHz @901mV shared by h9826790 here https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ii.2194899/page-7?post=31898640#post-31898640 and it give me very nice maximum hotspot 85°C and low noise fan. Fan starts to spin only if hotspot temperature became higher than 55°C. Still can't monitor any other temperature sensors of this card on macOS.

Because i'm on Hackintosh and still testing things, i used only these fields yet:
<key>PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable</key>
<key>model</key>

Currently only 3 middle DP ports works.

As promised, attached you see my new Vega VII workstation makeover with blue accents this time. (My dual tray is in storage at the moment)

Since I had many different GPUs in this thing I am used to the Vega VII level of performance or higher. What really really surprised me is the low noise duct fan. The reference Vega 64 / 56 back in the day was really a very bad designed and noisy card. Because of this I was very sceptical. However, since the 6800XT is not supported in the Sonoma, I sold my trusted mutant card and fell back to my 580 with AIO water block. But this time AMD surprised me full heartedly. The Radeon Pro Vega VII is very calm and the duct fan is not very noisy. I think that is the most important and surprising information. Big kudos to AMD Pro Series, they really did their homework when it comes to noisy duct fan solutions. Another surprise was the weight of that card and the fact that it's shroud is metal. It is really next level when it comes to AMD build quality. The hefty 1899,00 Dollar price tag did go somewhere.
Just for kicks, you will find my past RX 580 AIO setup attached as well.

Any chance you can post a picture of your "About This Mac"?... Just purchased a Radeon Pro VII on eBay and in my "About This Mac", under "Graphics", it says "Radeon Vega 16 GB". Is that what it's supposed to say, or did I get scammed? 😅 Thanks!

That is correct, mine posts exactly the same as yours „Radeon Vega 16GB“. This seems to be the correct name. For some reason they did not use Pro. Initially I thought it might come from the Mac flash, but it seems to be standard. How are you satisfied with your Pro card? I have it for a year now and I am super happy that I got it. It runs smooth, even in most games on Steam, perfect for the digital drug Nr.1 - PUBG ..

Anyone tried these in pairs with Infinity Fabric? Not much coverage online. Thinking about getting 4 of these + IF links to tinker with.

[edit] might be cheaper to find a MP with dual Pro Vega II duos?!

[edit2] ordered 4 with 2 of the 2 slot IF links.

Where did you get those Infinity Fabric connectors and how much are they cost?
To be honest it feels like AMD cheated a little bit with IF technology because newer cards could be combined for free in drivers using multi-GPU option, but those older generation Pro cards don't support multi-GPU option setting in drivers and require high cost hardware connectors.

Chinese ebay store named halbry. $700 each. Don't laugh, it's the only place I could find them. I think they were around $300 new right? 🤣. The GPUs were around $580 each.

Oh, this is really awesome, that you go for it! I am really exited to hear from your setup. I was flirting with this option as well, but I don’t have a MP 7.1 that would have enough space for two Pro cards. Hope you will post a picture with a shiny dual Blue Pro card setup with Infinity Fabric connector. This 2019 of yours will be an outstanding collector of a MP. Amazing!

Glad you like it! This is a serious but fun battle station for me. The MP has dual W6800X duos, and the 4 Radeon Pro VIIs are going into a PCIe expansion chassis similar to the Cubix Xpander seen on here. I will post pics when it's all installed and let everyone know if it even works or not 😂.

Is there some special sauce in the connectors of cables that makes them super expensive (sync chips etc)?

I had in my thoughts to get two Pro-VII's and an infinity fabric link, and to get 32GB of GPU render RAM. I guess that was an afterthought or a surreal belief, and as such, realistically something of a not-gonna-happen-ever-thing.
So I have 4 of these on the way from China, but at the last minute the seller informs me he only has one Link. I'm having no luck finding another. Anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks a million! I just don't want to pay that much!!! Holy cow.

Although, I'm getting credit back for the one, so this would only be a couple hundred on top. LMAO.

Sorry no, there were some stock a year ago I think, but not anymore in some distrelec sites, which I believe is a legit shop.

Then there are some instant cash-out offerings which obviously are just to monetize only, not sell the product. But then again, you can choose your size that fits at least (see pic).

But you have hopefully managed to get at least one pcs, I am eagerly waiting for your experiences with it.

And the seller claims their warehouse flooded and they have to refund my order...

[edit] ordered 4 from another seller (have a sneaking suspicion it's the same outfit) but no bridge.
