1. Continuity in the multitude of apps like in IOS, they also support third party apps.

2. iMessages

3. All the new family sharing options in IOS 8

4. Live tiles

5. Syncing WiFi passwords across desktop and phone.

6. Syncing desktop wallpaper across desktop and phone

7. A people's hub where all their social networks are linked which are linked to your contacts all working natively.

And that's just at the top of my head, I'm sure there are many more.

How many of that options are linked to use OS X and don't work with Windows?

Number one isn't supported by my 2011 Mac. I'll use dropbox to move wallpapers between phones. I like iOS, but it is extremely mac centric and I'm really unhappy about my $1300 Macbook Pro's inability to perform one of the marquee tasks.

So what is the likelihood of not being able to install the official keyboard cause of this app?

none....you can delete the app just like any other keyboard. It does not replace the stock one, it would be the same as downloading swiftkey/kii/or any other keyboard.

After this terrible Kit Kat experience crap, it stands for Long Gone for me from Android for a while.

The new keyboard is fantastic!! I love the UI design too. Very sleek. Everything feels smooth and nicely animated too.

This might be a keeper.

Phone rotation lock. Finally, after like, 6-7 something years they FINALLY include this. They like to brag about how they have so many more features that iOS just got, meanwhile iOS has had this since 2010...:roll eyes:

Glad to see that and a system wide "Do Not Disturb" being implemented.

My old android phones had this (Samsung).

Not to mention because of the fact that third party apps can be made default, this addresses many things that are "missing" in Android. I've had a phone rotation lock toggle in my pull down shade for years on Android.

But anyway, I suspect chrf097 isn't here to really discuss Android L.

The one thing I really dislike is Heads Up Notification. They made it uglier and more intrusive than it needs to be. They should have modeled it after NotifierPro, which I think, does it much better. It's smaller, more discrete, and much sleeker looking.

I'll likely be turning off Heads Up Notification.
