Not a chance. Aside from the uniformity of design, a good looking calendar and a snappier camera, the iPhone/iOS has nothing on the productivity beast that is my Note 2. But please give me a ring when there's an iPhone that has:

- 5.5" or bigger screen
- splitscreen multitasking
- a customizeable home screen
- dedicated back + menu buttons
- a central, accessible file system
- free choice of default apps for all file types
- swipe typing/exchangeable keyboard
- notification light

And I'm pretty hot on the S-pen as well :)

Should have claimed a new machine with Apples 'lemon' policy........

They offered a new unit but it was not available right away and needed a week so i just went ahead and sold it after fixing when i saw a co-worker's macbook's wifi going nuts as well.

Apple stores here tend to be quite low on inventory for some reason. They also had to take my machine once for a week because they didn't have parts readily available.

Why didn't you make this a public poll Chris so we could see who voted and ran? I wonder if the outcome would be different if it were public?

You at least have Apple stores ;) :(

We just act as a tax haven for both Google and Apple and we still have no official Apple stores and still can not buy Google devices.... Something is definitely wrong/skewed for the consumer in that equation is it not ?:p:):(

I doubt most folks even bother checking if the vote in public or not.....

Well, that's where i am always reminded that they are all corporations that use cheap tactics to save as much money as possible, and why i should never "love" any of them. What you said is really sad, shows how ugly the corporate world really is.

Too bad there are no mainstream companies in the technology space which can provide us these tools without resorting to tricks to save some cash.

I can't see myself going back to iPhone until the display comes to a more modern size like at least 4.7 inches if not 5 inches. I'm not as down as everyone else is on iOS but there's no reason for such a small device in 2013.

My current Evo 4G has a 4.3 inch screen and it doesn't really feel big like it used to. Do you guys think I would go insane using a 4 inch screen iPhone if that's the case? It's hard for me to tell because the screen of the iPhone 5 still looks better/bigger than the 4G to me even though it's .3 inches smaller. A bigger screen is nice but the HTC One is just so much larger than the 5 that I don't know if I can deal with that since I love using my phone one handed.

The only problem I have with my One using it one-handed is my palm hitting the screen when I reach across rendering my touches useless....quite frustrating actually, but I still love the phone.

Me too.

It doesn't happen very often, but it does happen and it is frustrating. I've said this before. Google really needs to address this issue; write a code or something to address inadvertent palm pushes.

Very similar to how Apple's trackpad doesn't register palm presses on their Macbooks. Never ever have an issue. If Google can get Android to recognize and differentiate, it'd make a big difference especially as devices get larger.

iPhone Fanboy Manager in the office cursed over his typing once and all it took, to convert him, was showing him swype. He had to try hard to get it wrong and offered to swap his iPhone 4S with someone's S2 on the spot.

They both now trialing each others phones to see if the swap stays permanent lol.

Made me chuckle .....

Are you talking about the original Evo 4G?

Another thing that drives me nuts is how they stretched the screen out length wise. Wish they would have done in a more proportionate way.

I have the One X (4.7 inches) S4 (5 inches) and my wife has the One (4.7) and honestly have no problems handling all of them one handed, even the One X with the power button placement up top. Then again I'm 6 foot 4 with larger than average hands. I guess if you can palm a basketball, 4.7 and up should be the perfect size for you.

It is proportionate. It's now 16:9 which is used by almost all handsets. Funny how so many people focus on that one side extension without realizing that apple simply brought it in line with the rest of the screen ratios.

One-handed use with a 5" screen phone is a little problematic due to inadvertent palm touching the display, otherwise it's not an issue at all. And to be honest, even the elongated iPhone/iPod 5 feels too small when you're actively using it.

I might.

Generally I am happy with my Nexus 4, but I have two big issues with it: Battery life and Wifi performance. Battery life is not a huge deal breaker as I have just conditioned myself to charge more often at work or home rather than just once per day, but the fact that wifi disconnects when the screen is sleeping is a big issue for me as I enjoy listening to streaming radio on my phone a lot. After a ton of research, there doesn't seem to be a fix for this.

So end of the day, if the next version of Android does not address the wifi issues when the screen is off and Apple introduces a phone with a larger screen, I'll have to take a look.

Used iPhone 2G from 2008-2010. Then iPhone 4 from 2010-2011. Tried Android back in Oct 2011 with a Nexus One. Didnt like Android at first. But in time, it grew on me. Now I believe Android is the superior OS. I realize I am more of Google fan than an Apple fan. I use more of Google's online services like Search, YouTube, GMail, Voice, Maps, and Music Play than any ecosystem Apple offers me. I dont need an ecosystem. I like versatility and customization. Apple screwed many Windows users by letting iTunes hog up our CPU usage after 10.5. iOS is just too damn dependent on iTunes. I'm now a current HTC One owner and dont see myself leaving Android for the rest of the decade. I want to a support an OS that helps multiple OEM's. Apple has stopped innovating since SJ died. Google is the future. They take more chances. And I dont need Google Glasses to see that. Android for me for a very long time. I never want to go back to Apple's walled approach again. Apple will end up like BlackBerry if they stop innovating.

This happens to me every year. Except in the other direction. I am always with the iPhone then I get bored and try Android again. Last year the Nexus 4 almost stole me away from Apple but I had ended up having to return it after 2 different units had ear piece problems and touch sensitivity issues. Also the battery life wasn't up to my standards.

Now that I have tried iOS7 on my iPhone 5 I am once again thinking about trying the next Nexus. Maybe I'll just keep both.

Do you use your Note 2 to make phone calls? If so, is it comfortable holding it to your ear? Thanks.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that it wasn't made public, and I can't fix it now. However "No" is winning by a large margin. In other words not many are considering making the switch back. However with each new rumor of the note 3, it's becoming harder to make the switch back(Snapdragon 800 w/3GB of ram!):D

I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. iPhone had its day with the iPhone 4 but Apple is still living in 2010 compared to what its competitors offer.

Would making the votes public matter? We all have our reasons why we are/not returning to iOS.

It's fine for phone calls but its more of a personal preference--some might not like the bigger screen.

Truthfully, it took me a little to get used to but you'll never go back to a small screen after messing with the S4 or a Note.

I'm convinced that Android--for now--is the way to go for cellphones but in the tablet market, iOS still dominates. However, I expect Android to make a strong push in the tablet market soon.

Sure, all the time. The size is perfect for my hands (and my face lol) and it's actually a very light device despite its size.

I purposely bought my HTC One off contract via Craigslist so that I can try Android while keeping my upgrade option open. I couldnt see myself using the iphone5 form factor for the upcoming 5s release. Hopefully when Iphone6 comes out, Apple will wow me enough for me to switch back lol.

I am loving my HTC ONE, this phone is amazing. To me, it is the phone that Apple should have built. Although, I am pretty annoyed with the quality of games on Android. I spend a ton of time playing Scramble With Friends and Words With Friends and those games are buttery smooth on iOS. However, I cannot say the same for Android....HUGE LAG!!!!!

Now I know what ppl mean by quality of apps. Hopefully developers will focus more on increasing the quality of apps on Android within the near future.
