yep sendspace sucks, it sometimes works and sometimes it doesnt

maybe you could try rapidshare.com? but a torrent wouldnt be to bad either as long its yours for the 3G with cydia but without custom imagines ^^

No torrent please, my ISP has block off torrent. Only direct download works for me.

I can confirm that it worked with my Aussie iPhone 3G no issues at all.

If you are getting a 1600 error, just dont enter DFU mode and connect it to iTunes and when it goes to the Summary tab showing the phones space and stuff, Shift and click on Restore and then find the file listed above! Worked fine for me.

u need to have your torrent client open and the file in your share folder but ive no problem waiting for sendspace

I highly doubt you'll break it... worst that could happen is you have to restore to the official Apple firmware.



My iPhone Video Recorder stopped working with this update. Has anyone been successfully able to use this recorder with the new firmware (the one that takes time to encode)?

I'm using Cycorder right now, but it doesn't upload to YouTube.

Nope, didn't work...apparently it's related to USB ports...trying a different comp.

- I've just downloaded the file from the earlier link. I'll be trying it in an hour or so. I'll post up my results and the route I used to Jailbreak it.

Thank you for that! I was able to get it. I'm a little confused about the iTunes stuff. Do we upgrade to 8 or stay at 7.7 before doing this? What about after we do the upgrade to 2.1?

i used the custom firmware which is posted here with iTunes 8.0 and just restored "strg+restore" my iPhone 3G (which was previously pwned with 2.0.2 Win. QuickPwn) with it and it worked just fine. Idk why it isnt working for anyone else in here

It seems the version on YouSendit isn't working for everyone. I get the error 6 as well.

The one you got from the torrent worked for you...would you be willing to post it for us to download?
