ive been trying to find some news no luck yet though on at bat 10 for this upcoming season on what to expect has any one hear any new features.

Im hoping 10 will add some following features this year

Hide Score . There are Times where ill wanna watch a Condense game wether im out or at work but seeing that score and seeing who wins will make me change my mind and still possilby miss a good game.

I have a feeling the 2010 version will have a ton of in app purchase options. I'd ideally like an option to be all my teams games for a season. Say for $20 or something, that would be cool. In my opinion they should do every game like NBA League Pass does and just chagre $40 up front for it. Way easier.

I expect that AtBat 2K10 will appear as an in App Purchase for a lower price for previous owners, and then available to the public. They need to remove geographical restrictions on the live video, and they need to have HD Audio available.

Has anyone here connected their iPhone to a TV to view the games provided by MBL At Bat? I'm very curious to know what the quality would be as an alternative to purchasing MLB Extra Innings through my cable company. I tend to think the picture quality wouldn't be very good, though.

theres a Jail Break app that lets you display apps via tv out I think not positve though.

I was planning to just use the cable I currently use for my iPod (plugs into the headphone jack). Would this not work? I hadn't even thought about that. Then again, I do have set it to TV out on the iPod and I don't know if that's available on the iPhone. Hmmmm.

Personally I'd like to have an easier way to select games in the past than clicking the back arrow 100 times -- like a calendar date selection or something. Sometimes I want to look something up - or watch old Top Play videos and right now it's a pain.

Blackout restrictions will never fade. You think it's about the app and it's not. Local TV networks will trump this so just deal with it.

I do hope the next version is discounted but I'll probably pay the same because I enjoyed it so much.

An MLB.TV Premium subscription gets you HD video on your computer, and all the games can be viewed on the iPhone at no additional charge. Last year it was $110.00.

is this app worth it if I already have MLB Extra Innings?

I usually just use the sportstacular app if I am out and want to check the score of a game.

If you don't have a slingbox/slingplayer app and want to watch or listen to games when you are out and about, it's worth it. If not, then it's not.

my guess is we won't hear any news about MLB At-Bat 2010 until March. Spring Training starts in March and we'll probably get some info about what to expect in the upcoming version.

Or you could be one of the, whats do you call it, hmmm adult. And maybe instead or relying on your phone to watch a game, maybe pay for a full time subscription. Just saying, thats one hell of a ghetto way just to try and watch a game...

MLB has done a really good job embracing the Internet and mobile devices, they are way ahead of the curve on this one in terms of their offerings compared to other professional sports

this is one the app i really don't mind paying the $10 every year

Now if they'd only go back to day games, reduce ticket prices, and eliminate a couple of teams ...

No one shows up for day games. Ticket prices will always go up due to player salaries, and elimintaing teams. ehhhh, just dont add more. Good opinions though, just thought I'd give mine

I guarantee you people would show up for day games at least in the big markets like Chicago, Boston, and NY.

And salaries go up because ticket prices (and exclusive cable contracts - another of my pet peeves - bring back games on broadcast TV, dammit) enable the owners to pay them. When the owners don't have the money, they won't pay the salaries. (Of course, that just means the damned Yankees will win every year, but the race for #2 will still be much more fun).

I can't imagine that the quality would be very good.
You should look into getting MLB.tv ... with either a net-top or a Roku box.

I bought the app for $5 during the postseason. It was great because I could watch and listen to the playoff games while I was in Europe for a while.

What games were normally available during the regular season last year if you paid the $10???
