Ok so if I download this app on the 28th, will I have to download it again and pay for it again with the ipad or is a one time deal for both the iphone and ipad?
Looks like MLB at bat 2010 will now be available on March 2nd (according to my at Bat 2009 app).
i'm not liking the trend of raising the price $5.00 every year. there was a big jump in features from 2008 to 2009 so i could understand going to the $9.99 price, but from what i have seen so far there isn't much to speak of in 2010 and it seems more like a move just to see how much people are willing to pay rather than being justified by new features. unless of course they are planning to offer all game video as part f the price and not a $0.99 purchase

They never raised prices. The 2008 version came out when the OS 2.0 software came out in early July, so they only charged for half a year. Last year was the first full year of the app, hence the price difference.
What's the general consensus on buying tomorrow if purchasing an iPad?
id say wait cause the iPad will have diffrent features than the iPhone version.
I'm gonna want it on both, but will there be a double version for cheaper?
So they're raising the price from $9.99 to $14.99? I don't know what new features are being included in the '10 edition, but I liked the way the '09 app was laid out and functioned.
It says on their website and on the description for the free MLB at Bat app that the price for MLB at Bat 2010 will be 14.99
Where i just looked it says nothing?

I thought $10 was a great price point and I don't mind paying that. $15 makes me cringe (though I'll probably end up doing that too, bastards). Of course, it's completely disappeared at this point.
I nth the folks who wail about the blackout. Like I really want my iphone to be my primary device for watching baseball. I use it when I'm out in the world, or at a meeting or anywhere I'm not by TV for which I already pay for cable. Doesn't the video stream still show the ads on the network being streamed? The audio portion does.
Anyhow...1 month and a couple of days until the regular season starts...so close!
So where's the 2010 app? We're just hours away from the first game of the 2010 preseason, and it's nowhere to be found. I wonder if it's been delayed again, at the last minute.
it doesnt even say coming soon anymore on the mlb.com website
