Is it worth getting a stainless steel version if I'm a serial upgrader?

Thinking of saving some money and getting the Nike edition.

Depends on you.

I do a lot of home DIY stuff, working on cars, etc. When I had aluminum models I was always really careful; I'd remove my watch for a lot of stuff, or put it in a TPU case while working on the truck, and so forth. I still managed to ding the case at least once or twice in the year of ownership. Then it stood out as an eyesore the rest of the year until I upgraded.

Since switching to SBSS, no more dings or scratches. At least none I can see without a magnifier. I still take the watch off when doing something that might damage the display, but it requires far less care.

Expensive vanity, but for me it's definitely been worth it.

Me too. Going away for a few days and didn’t have a pickup option so I’ll have to wait until the middle of next week to get my hands on it.
Mine is end of Sept/beginning of October.

That's fine. At least I know it's in the pipeline.

Interesting it doesn’t list a space black as on your screenshot.

i know I didn’t understand that. I was trying to compare the two to get an idea how much lighter it will be. It looks to be about the same as the sbti but with a glossy finish which I am good with. I bought the sbti last year and returned it because I wasn’t a fan of the matte finish and didn’t want to worry about possibly scratching it.

I’ll order next week whilst on holiday

gonna go for AppleCare+ too this time as I had a fault before and no watch. Then next day smashed my watch

Seriously considering selling my iPad Pro 2nd Gen that I never use and my current Series 3 Watch and buying a Series 6 for my wife and I...Someone talk me out of it.

Umm, why is the customize your watch option so prominent if you can't even order most of the configurations yet?

Just want a watch on Friday or the weekend as I’m going away monday

no chance tho!

I'm actually okay waiting, if I can just order the damn thing, but I kinda want to know if I have to wait 3 months or not to get a custom config. I'd probably go with a stock one if that's the case.

The SE Price is really good, coming from a Serie 0

The SE moves this year, both watch and phone, have been strong. The base model iPad is also pretty decent spec wise, most users could get by with that.

It’s great that you can get set up with an iPad, watch and iPhone for under £1k, will bring in lots of users.
