Anybody Playing My Town 2?

With all the stock exchanges I. Have every 4 hours I get approximately 30-40 million coins. People on here have been telling me that I can franchise awesome businesses with coins but every time I visit a town the franchise wants thousands of BUCKS. I am finding it hard to justify buying bucks to play a game. People on here are. Saying they get thousands of bucks. I wish I knew how to. I have tried what people suggest on here but nothing works

Snoopy1967: I completely understand your reluctance to spend real money. The highest revenue generating businesses do cost many, many Bucks. But on the other hand, there are many, many other businesses that can be bought using coins.
I believe it is around 800 popularity before a business will cost 1 Buck. So anything less than 800 can be bought using coins.
That is how my town began. Most of my earlier businesses had only 100-200-300 popularity. They didn't generate much revenue, but over time, as I saved up coins, I was also saving Bucks. I sold off the little businesses and bought better ones, still using only coins.
Just remember, buying a new business means doing jobs to level up. Or you can franchise but again, it's the smaller businesses that cost coins. It's up to you.
There is one more source for Bucks; it is with the new feature, "Errands" I think they call it; a character will randomly appear and walk around with a little conversation balloon telling you s/he is looking for X business, the hospital, police station, etc. You click what they want and you will be given 755 coins and 4XP, and occasionally, Bucks. This is a game of patience.

I also understand your frustration how others talk about having lots of Bucks. You'll have to decide how you want to play the game.

I hear what you are saying, what I cannot figure out is who in their right mind would shell out the real cash for enough bucks to buy a franchise. I have seen franchises that cost thousands of bucks. If. The cost is $99 for 1600 bucks then we are talking of spending a few hundred real dollars for a fake business. Just does ot make sense

One way to look at it though--for those who don't mind paying, they allow the app developer company(s) to offer their games so people like you and me can play at no or little cost.

I tried explaining the cash cost earlier but I have only spent one $25 app card to get bucks but I'm now sitting on 18k bucks just from getting franchised. businesses from other cities are the ones that cost bucks no matter what the popularity is. if it is from your current location then it will always cost coins to franchise. for example if you are in new York you could franchise any of my businesses for coins, some of them would cost a ton of coins though. the cost is equal to the popularity stats so my Starbucks would cost you over 1 million coins and if your location is new York you could buy it for coins and not bucks. this is the reason why changing locations is important. when I wanted mixer bar I moved to Paris so I could purchase with coins rather than bucks.

Also keep in mind that buying a business from the store that's "hot" will always be cash bucks so franchising is the only real way to get the good businesses. also when you franchise your business starts with a bonus just for having a franchise before you buy it from somebody's town look at the stats it'll range from +5% to +50%

Snoopy1967: Now you're at 750MM. Wow! I've never had that many coins at any single time. I usually choose something I want, save up and once I have enough, I buy it.
You're right, the hardest part about this app is getting the Bucks. One must be extremely patient or buy them with real money.
Or as some people have done, jailbreak their iphone, or doing something to the files. I don't know how to do any of that, so I play the game the slow way. lol!

I'm up to 4.8 Billion in coins lol...

And as far as Bucks go, you can earn them when people franchise a popular business from you, i earned 960 Bucks the other day when someone franchised one of my popular businesses.

Whe I look at other peoples towns and their franchise says income per job + 40% what does that actually mean?

If a business is level 8 with that job per net is it worth franchising? What other stats should I be looking at?

I'm glad I finally have a place to talk about the game it's so much fun but Booyah really needs to update it more and fix some bugs. I'm finally up to #11 in the leader boards and soon hopefully up to #6! It's literally impossible to have great stats without always changing your location though bc my top 5 are all in different cities.

Well pooh, since it looks like I'm going to have to jump through hoops to get my game back on the iPad I started a new one, I still have my old town in my phone but love to easy navigation on the Ipad.

Here's a snippet from a post I put in another forum, if anyone knows anything about this please message me..
I checked around to find ways to transfer the game and its data from the iPhone to iPad. So far iExplorer didn't work, ifunbox seems easier to navigate but I don't know what to look for or where to save it. Phone Disk needs to be purchased and iTunes requires you to restore. There's got to be a way right?

Oh and thanks to the Wet Dream town for franchising! Now if I could get my town back on my iPad I'll be a happy camper!

So how in the world am I gonna hide any more stupid subways.. I like my little town but I gotta figure out how to add population better.. my guy suggested bringing alot of subways online to open the business's and then dumping the subways.. I have zero bucks so the wonders thing won't work for me ideas anyone?

I love the upgrades, but my game keeps on closing on me and I lose all coins and goals. Seems like I have to exit out of the game to save progress. Anyone else having this problem?

When BOOYAH mad that last update on Monday midnight, that to have seemed to have corrected my problem of screen blinking, reverting to the last transaction that I had made> T then had to redo that same screen all over again to collect my coins. Message kept saying having trouble Guess Booyah head us.....

Why are you guys wanting to delete the app, again? I have been following converstations since #1 and I am not sure since am new.

Those of you out there please remember those of us that only have a IPOD and try to remember us so we better follow people advice and suggestions.

By the wat that last update Monday midnight seemed to have fixed my blinging screen that said was having trouble connecting th the game server while at the same time loosing previous coins from the transaction I had to redo, again. Guess maybe Booyah listened to us.....HAPPY DAY!!!!
