Anybody Playing My Town 2?

To be fair the update is pretty dissappointing I have go full population so the upgrades don't really achieve much and it only for like 2 things lol pretty pissed off with having to watch 4 videos to get 1 measly buck and does any one know if this is still hourly happy that I had bought all expansions when I did though I only have 16 million coins left and can't do the little glitch no more but hoping businesses will pay out more when my 3 stock exchanges are built still need bucks though I have spent 36 on the spins and best I got was xp lol if anyone else has any tips they want to share it would be appreciated also found some big popularity businesses I have got feel free to franchise em 
How can I get this new bonus thing I have bought 3 stock exchanges which would be nice if they were finished lol but can't find how have put all businesses on 15 min jobs and also been taking people where they want but no special check in yet

It is definately not hourly - it hasnt come back 6 hours later. Also, I can't figure out what determines when you can update your community stuff either.

I havent seen it either but to be honest i havent played too much today as there is no longer an incentive to play as much (hourly bucks etc).
Going to concentrate on getting my town back to something cool after deleting 40+ malls
Recent Update
To give my input regarding the recent update: I sold all my megamalls yesterday before I knew of this new upgrade (I've amassed a small fortune so no longer needed them). My understanding is that the wonders don't stack anymore, or at least not like they used to (I noted in an earlier post I was getting around $140M every 4hrs with all my businesses combined).

I've seen that forum referenced a few times but I can't seem to find a way to go back a page to read the last 10 posts etc. Maybe something is getting blocked on my machine
Hey for the forum posts I referenced above there is only one page of posts (hence no pages to scroll back through). If there are additional pages you'll be able to see this at the top of the page on left hand side of the the blue strip and also at the very bottom of the page

I believe it's as simple as clicking on the post office and a box will pop up allowing you to choose which skin you want to use (provided you've upgraded all the skins, I assume if you haven't there will be a note under the designs that you haven't unlocked stating you need to upgrade).
I've upgraded all the levels for each of the community buildings so for example the post office, when I click on it a little blue box pops up with a paint brush on it, I click on that and I have the choice of 5 designs.

I not got fire station but post offic I just paid for em all then pressed re model like a normal business and got what looks like an office now not a post office lol
I'm not such a keen fan of the game at the min i can't have any more poPulation no more expansions and I can't even get free buck every hour no more so never going to have enough bucks cos I refuse to pay real money for a game lol

Id recommend anyone who hasn't yet upgraded not to, I did on my iphone and not ipad and ive been playing more on my ipad now.
The upgrade caused most of my businesses to plummet in popularity and now theres no hourly free buck or any benefit whatsoever (other then 3 random community upgrades) so any reason I had to continue playing is gone.
Stay with the old and do not upgrade unless you already did

I guess the answer to my question may be somewhere in this large thread - but am hopeful someone can help me with -
I am having trouble figuring out what the popularity of businesses will be when I franchise them. What happens is that I go to another MyTown that I would like to franchise from, and click the stats button. It shows the player's businesses and their popularity. But when I go to that business on their screen and click on the handshake icon to franchise it, the popularity level has often plummeted - it is different than what I saw when I went to franchise it!
Obviously, I would like to franchise high-popularity businesses. Has anyone else had this problem? How can I make certain that when I franchise a business I know what the popularity will be?

You're not the only one this problem happens to me a lot too... from my experience the popularity when you click on someones business is accurate and not when you click on their stats then the business, I have no idea why though.

Same here I get all excited for a business which has 100 and something thousand then when I go to franchise it like 12 thousand I even changed my location to NYC to get it :-( just another cock up from booyah lol surely the update should haves fix this rather than now screwing everyone up from getting a buck every hour but no I won't be playing it as much no more

Upgrade like any app. I'm on iPhone so I just went to the app store and selected upgrades.
I wouldn't have updated though if I knew the downsides.

A few posts ago I put a link to another forum that talks about which houses/community buildings gives you which vehicles. Depends what you want. Check it out. The forum is pretty informative.
No More Free BuckS???? Argghhh!
My game automatically updated this morning - i didn't seem to get a choice in the matter. While it is nice to be able to put different skins on the community items, I want the free buck per hour back! I had only got onto this a few days ago (thanks to this forum) and was finally staring o accumulate a few buck ($80). I started playing the game after the old stock exchanges were deleted so didn't get to amass a fortune with them. I think Booyah are plotting against me! Ha ha.
Question: Everyone talks about stacking Mega Mall (and previously stock exchanges). Why not Eiffel tower? Do offices and Retail businesses automatically generate a higher base price than cafe's etc? Why not stack Eiffel Towers and get 25%?
If Booyah don't start making it more rewarding to play without spending $100s of real bucks I will have to give up - shame 'cause I really enjoy this game.
The ability to give more than 5 gifts per day would be nice too.

The reason to stack malls before was they were cheap and took up a small footprint so you could easily afford and fit 40+ of them which is what you need for some significant money

You can stack whichever wonder that you wish that suits you. The Stock Exchanges were a good price when you are starting off and therefore, affordable. So if you want to buy Eiffel Towers and stack them its the same thing, Can I suggest that you buy the Pyramid if you can, because that builds the wonder right away, therefore you don't have to wait for hours until they build.
Also, if you have an iphone or Ipad I think it could update automatically if you are updating something else ? Not sure but sometimes it happens to me.
I think I have franchised you before but will do so again.

Hi I just wanted to reiterate my previous post regarding stacking the wonders:
As for why I choose the MegaMalls over the Eiffel Tower is because the Megamalls cost 10,000 coins each and the Eiffel Tower's cost 200 bucks each > I didn't have those sort of bucks to buy that many Eiffel Tower's. I paid 870,000 coins for my 87 malls and I MORE than recouped that (but I dont think youre getting the same return on the stacking that you were before the update).
Always go off of what is says when you hit the handshake, you can never go wrong with that. There must have been a way to "modify" your businesses and those businesses got franchised and passes around. I believe this recent update was introduced to fix this "error"
