Anybody Playing My Town 2?

I noticed some of your towns has the business "quick" and it has a very very high population. It is impossible to franchise. But can i ask how are u guys able to obtain it? Care to enlighten me? Lol or those towns with businesses that has very high popularity ratings. As posted above, how to get the businesses to such a high popularity rating or checking in is the only way.... Or how does a friend be able to bring up the popularity? Thanks alot will gladly help you guys back
Switch your phone to airplone mode, visit Booyahtopia and franchise any business for 1 buck or 800 coins.
That's where Quick is from, I think.
The best way to increase popularity is to sell old businesses and pick up higher businesses.
Pick up as in? Because im from singapore and the businesses available for pick up has low popularity, and towns which appears to be high in popularity from this forum from u guys have appears to be overseas etc which are high in bucks and its impossible. Btw i saw melanie's posts she meantioned about changing location or something like that. How does this go?

Delete mytown2
Reinstall it (it will remember your game I.e bucks, coins, xp, businesses everything as far as I am aware)
Then press on business or business search and it Will come up with something like - this game is a location base game please enter your location (you can only do this once, hence why the delete so it can be done again and again)
Also it isn't where the Persons town it is business location
So for apple San Francisco do what is said above then type in San Francisco and go to my town (or someone who has it) and press the handshake above the business and it should be coins to franchise

All I have ever done is turn my location off in settings and then gone into the game and searched for businesses. It will then ask you where you are (because your location is off) I pick New York. Paris etc. When I am franchising, if someone is in NY and I am in NY then I am only able to franchise for coins, which is no good for most people looking for bucks so I turn my location to on in my settings and go back and then franchise the people for bucks. Hope this makes sense...
I know people have suggested deleting the game, I have never had to do that.
On another note. I deleted some of my low populations businesses (just so I could get more space to move around) and a couple of my businesses which was like Mcdonalds which was popularity of 32610 is now 27 !!! I was making something like $11,000 every four hours from it. Similar things have happened to Walmart, Four Seasons and AMC. I checked on some of the people that have franchised these same businesses from me and theirs seem to look ok. Has anyone found this ?
I did a fair few check-ins just to see whether it will work and Mcdonalds came up a bit, but that is such a tedious way to get it back up to where it was.
Anyone have any suggestions. Is this a booyah glitch and should I wait it out ? Write to them again ?
And if you are wondering, I actually made up an Excel spreadsheet of all my business and popluarity before I deleted some of the businesses, just to make sure that I was deleting the correct ones. Yes ! I have OCD and should be going to listeholics annoymous. Or so my kids tell me anyway !

I have a few low pop business. The high pop businesses are from booyah but i want more too.
So Mel if i were want to franchise your businesses for COINS as i want to keep them as my permenant businesses i shd off my location and where do i set my location as??? I tried just now but its only available for BUCKS. I would appreciate it so much for u or anyone who could tell me how. Will return u a favour for ur advice for this case and for ur help by gifting you in population. My town is called joshua and u shd be able to see me on ur friend list

When you say turn off the location is the location services in settings right? I did that when i went in it doesnt prompt me to ask me where i am. Or must i start the app all over to sort of refresh the app. If inremeber i tried that oso but it doesnt ask me that and i tried searching new york and there are so many parts of new yorkntoo though. Im confused. Help................... Ur help once again would be greatly appreciated though

Go to Booyahtopia under explore and make notes of the top businesses.
Go to airplane mode
Go to explor and youll see booyahtopia. It will tell you you dont have service but dont worry bout it
Youll be able to franchise one the businesses for either 800 coins or 1 buck.
The business will appear super super low
Turn airplane mode off and within a day youll see the business go back up to its high popularity.

Yup i tried the turning off the location service thing and it doesnt help me to get businesses with high popularity from you guys located in another diff country from me. Maybe it doesnt work anymore or im doing it wrongly? I dunno. Help is appreciated.

6) Police Station= Cop Car+ Police officer

I just turn of my settings to location 'off' go back into mytown, and go into businesses search. it will ask you where you are. I say New York, NY. I then go out of there, and go back into my town. I think refreshing the app is probably the right thing to do.
The other day I had to change it to give someone coins instead of bucks for franchise. I dont know whether it is just me, but I have never had a problem changing locations...

Hmmm i see, then is it possible i use this method to franchise ur businesses to keep them as my own permenant ones using coins? Ur businesses have high pop and i would like to have some which can rake in lots of coins
In theory yes, you can do that for coins. however, when you franchise you don't always get the same popularity at the start. It could be less than what is showing in my town. That goes for all businesses, wherever you are. You never get the same popularity.
I see. I did as what you said, and first of all, when i go into business search, it didnt ask me where is my location. Anyone know why is this? Is it because my ipadnis still using my previous location dor the last 24 hrs since its showing a grey arrow beside the mytown 2 locations settings?

Ok this is what I do:
go into store
pick on business search
click on near -> It should give you options here, if you want to ignore these options type new york city, new york
it should allow you to pick it at this point.
But I really think, to save your bucks you should do what everyone else is doing and use Booyahtopia, and have a little patience until the business picks up popularity.
I had a lot of Stock exchanges in my town and the popularity was very low, but I just wanted enough coins to buy all the land.
I invested in the Pyramid so that the wonders build instantly (Stock Exchange) and went from there. Keep checking into your businesses as well. That should help the popularity.
Yes, i got all of this, but what i got was that, it doesnt ask me where i am. So this method u recommended doesnt franchise the business by coins but bucks. So that means i cannot change my location at all. Isnt it so? Then how does the businesses pick up popularity by following everyone else and use booyahtopia? The popularity ofnthe businesses depends on my owan check in to my franchises on booyah's businesses or it can be accumulated by everyone who franchises booyah's businesses too? Im nt sure how the franchises work though

Another question, if i franchise someone's town for cheap for example 9 bucks, and he increases the popularity of his business at his town, will it affect the one in my town too? As in the popularity of the franchised business in my town will be increased too and will earn more doing jobs
