I franchised Domino's Pizza for coins. It cost a bit over $1M. How many coins did you get? Just wanted to compare. Thanks.

Someone whose town name is Thendara franchised about 6 of my businesses over the past 2 days...for coins.

Kinda curious to know who they are. I am of course happy to be a recurring source of premium NY-based businesses.

Very curious...has Booyah shut down the delete app / turn off location settings trick? Nobody seems to be using it anymore and a lot of people want bucks for out-of-area businesses. What gives? I know the trick does not work on I-PAD but does it work on I-PHONE?

Personally, I have been too afraid to try it out.

Hey guys i hope all is well!
About changing your location the way i do it is to delete the app..............Iknow scary but right after you conferm the deletion a message will say keep or remove game center hit keep.
If it does not ask that its okay.
Then just rebuy the app then right away go to store and busnisess and it will ask your location.Pick it recomend new york then franchise a buisness from that city and it will be coins
ps. when you delete the app it wont delete your progress.
At leaset for me.
I have done it a million times!lol

Thanks to everyone who has been so generous with franchising from me and sending me gifts!! Ive been tring really hard to keep up with sending gifts back. And have finally been able to franchise back from some of you.

I'm so glad I found this forum! I am kind of still trying to only franchise in coins though. So far I've been able to get some really great stuff!

I've really been struggling to get my population up enough to keep building biz though. With keeping my town still looking "cute".... Any tips?

Last I checked, I have about 6 or 7 thousand. At this point, I'm just messing around with my layout. Booyah needs to add a huge "Under Construction" sign as a purchasable decoration. :)

I have heard that but have also seen people like Kittyville delete their town and lose everything. If it still works, I will try it after release of more land. Right now, I am out!

Also, I gifted you but have yet to receive a franchise. Thanks in advance.

I own the Mixer Bar outright. I've been watching all my stats and most of the high pop businesses have slowed or come to a complete stop. I'm watching another business for purchasing and it's dropped by over 1K in Bucks. It will be interesting to see how everything turns out with the next upgrade/release.

Good afternoon Licat & GraceGirl & Cankiss! [I feel like I'm addressing my "angels" :D]
I've been lucky enough to have purchased almost all of my businesses via coins. I traveled down the California coast during the winter holidays, which gave me access to Los Angeles, Orange County (Disneyland), and San Diego. All the San Francisco area businesses are purchasable via coins right from my house. Then, I discovered that turning off the location services on my phone put me in New York, so those businesses were easily accessed.

Right now, I'm not so interested in getting businesses for popularity only. I'm thinking of places like the Australian Opera House or even the Tuschinski Theater in Amsterdam, where I saw "The Rock" (subtitled in Dutch). Hmm, I'll have to take a look later...
 
Easier way to move your location.

Turn off your location services, and go back into/out the game a couple times. Then when you go into check in, it will say something about "this is a location based game, please choose your location" and to get back to where you really are, turn location back on.

No need to delete the app and be scared. This works all the time with me.

I'm so super sorry I didn't really pay close attention :(:(:(
Alot of people franchise my New York stores for coins..I always get super excited when I see the "hands" thinking it could be some green bucks .:D. buuut .. One time I turned on my screen and freaked out cause there were hands everywhere and I thought someone was giving me bucks..annnnd.. then I realized..I was still on someone else's page that "I" had been helping with coins...hahahaha!!! :eek: Sooo now after I see that No.. It is not green bucks.. I just tap the button..lol! :D
If you ever want me to watch let me know its coming.. and I'll write it down :) :)

That's OK. I do that too with the little hands. Lol. Anyhoots, I was just curious to see if there was a certain ratio algorithm they use, or if its more random.

I have switched from the jersey shore area to NYC but not able to switch anywhere else. Would love to get some California sunshine. My son might have a surf comp in San diego soon don't know if I trust him with my iPod. LOL
