This triple gifts thing is making my head spin. Bottom line that has been the most annoying is the population gift size is smaller. I still of course appreciate them very, very much, but for Booyah to reduce the pop quantity for each gift makes each one that much more precious.

Yes, I was also disappointed when the Valentine items didn't give anything. It would have been so sweet and fun to have a flying cupid in our towns. Not to mention the football items not giving anything.

I'll keep plugging away on the list by updating #1348 if and when I find additional info.

2. The red convertible does indeed come with the mansion. I can show you a town with 18 mansions and 18 red convertibles.

I would like to see a complete "character list," so good luck. Sadly, none of the football or valentine's stuff introduced anyone new to the town.

1- what is the lightening speed mean when you do a check-in? Your business shows that you clicked on it when you do a check in. How does this work? When it work the best?
2-I reset my, my town 2 trying to see if my game center leader board shows up per Booyah's request. The screen popped up saying to pick a base area to play the game. I had several business from around NY the last time. In your opinion (OR anyone else please chime in) ASAP, please.
Where would you choose next to obtain business? Most of my catagories that I have are "Businesses". I need the rest, retail, cafe, entertainment......Any thoughts......I guess I got a second chance.......

I added ? 16 ideas to the wish list, no matter how big, small, or silly, the (http://mytown2.proboards.com) much needed thoughts are there.

Convertible

Pam, that's what I was saying. I've got several convertibles and had them all long before I bought a mansion. As I live in a tiny Delta town and am trying to model my town after it - and as there are no mansions around here that I know about - I only bought one, mainly because I have all the other houses and wanted the population it offered.

Barracuda, it would seem that the number of check-ins I received as a gift are yet another game inconsistency. I received 15, not 12. I don't know what others are getting. I've also received population as a gift and got four of the little icons.

I just wish Booyah would add additional levels. It's such a waste to see all those stars fly off into nothing. It would also be nice to cut the price of new property. My next piece is something like 620,000 coins. I know others are paying more than that, but since I don't have any high-paying businesses, it takes a while to accumulate coins.

I seriously regret having "cleaned up", and removed businesses and population level. It took me almost everything I had to get back to where I was for a new business. I recommend you guys don't delete businesses, especially if you can buy more land.

Then I get a ton of population gifts, from out of the blue.... Go figure. Thanks Wayne's World. Bear (bare?) with me as I get back to all of you.

I am such a total nerd. I actually created a couple of spreadsheets, and an algorythm to maximise my business income without having all offices, and also keeping one of each category, for errands/check ins.

Strange about the changing of locations.... It worked for me last night, but I think I had to fiddle with it more than usual.... I think I did something similar to what was just described. OMG. I hope I'm not stuck in NYC forever. Hahaha.

by the way, you can change all of your businesses to the same category for long stretches, to really maximize your income, because you don't foresake any income from errands. My algorythm is rough, but it's pretty good. I also know which ones to put on double speed in priority, for faster income....

Another thing. If you're working your businesses, and you're fast, you can change the category WHILE someone is asking you for an 'errand', and still get the $$.

Licat, thanks for listing the various vehicles and how you get them. I have both colors of the VW Bus, but I got them early on (from some housing, I think), but I can't give you a definitive answer.

I did NOT get the ice cream truck and am really bummed about it.

As far as tanks being given with barracks, the answer is no. You don't get anything with the barracks.

I don't remember if you mentioned the pickup truck or not, but if you didn't, you get it with the trailer (housing).

Someone also mentioned the triple thing only working with bucks. Not true. I got 15 check-ins as a gift.

I just want to say that my goal is to make as realistic a town (modeled after the one I live in) as I can. I don't care about billions of coins or truckloads of bucks; I don't change a grocery store into a certain kind of business and then buy 20 stock exchanges to maximize profit. I do franchise because a lot of the businesses I want won't show up on search, and since it does take me time to save up enough coins to buy property, it makes developing that property feasible. I'm also like another player who made a recent comment - I just enjoy watching all the cars and people going about their business and wandering the town. I get a kick out of the whole thing. I think it's the cartoonish quality of the game which makes it more enjoyable than something like Sim City. Besides, the Sim games are so full of rules that they're no fun to play.

Licat, the red convertible doesn't come with the mansion. I had it long before I bought the mansion. I also have all the sedans and just know they were given with various housing. I don't know if buying a certain house/apartment gave them or if they were just handed out.

The only pickup I have is yellow. Like said, it came with the trailer.

Are you sure about the red convertible? I didn't have one until I got the mansion, and I didn't have much before that....

My nephew got me started (hooked on) this game. I got into it because he bought the playground first(not the school), and it came with an ice cream truck. We were trying to figure out how to get money from selling ice cream. Obviously, I've learned a lot since then!!

Hopefully you now know exactly how the bolt works. When you check into your own business, or someone gifts you a bolt on a property, as long as that bolt is blinking your timer is at double speed. Use it to do a lot of quick jobs when you have free time. Other questions...

1. First Paris, then San Fran. Paris has a crazy amount of high pop stuff, from retail shops along the Champs Elysse to cafes, restaurants and bars. Go explore towns near Paris under social and you will see what I mean. San Fran area has all the cool tech companies like Facebook, Apple, Booyah, etc. as well as the flagship Apple store, and some popular stores and eateries if you poke around.

2. After level 50, the bolts and check-ins still work, but you can't gain experience or raise the popularity of your properties. So checking in and doing jobs lose a lot of meaning. Luckily after the update things will normalize.

3. Bucks on my Louis Vuitton would be best, followed by population on any other biz. I WILL gift you back, but it may take me 2-3 days to deliver as I can only do 5 gifts a day and like many others I get quite a few gifts.

I bought the fountain and have not seen the cupid.
You might be lucky and get it and then maybe not.
