LovePuppet, it was indeed me. I would agree with you that I had accidentally touched the screen, but I was lighting a ciggie and saw it when I put everything down and looked back up. I haven't seen it again, however. It doesn't really matter, because according to Barracuda, I was reporting old news anyway.
A side note: while these coinage amounts are indeed impressive, I'm doing it "the hard way". None of my businesses are worth much of anything because, with the exception of Facebook and one other San Francisco business, they're all small locals. The only time I cheat is when I really want something which requires more bucks than I have, at which point I buy what I need. Since the game was freeware to me, I don't mind supporting the company. I just enjoy building and rearranging things, trying to make the nicest (and most realistic, other than the Biodome) town that I can, and watching all the activity. I guess for some, acquiring all the money you can get and figuring out ways around the norm before getting shut down is a fun and competitive thing to do, but it just doesn't matter to me. It's not a matter of not being able to do it - even though I'm fairly computer illiterate, Hubster is a Sr. Software Engineer, having worked for Cisco Systems for 17 years and now working for a software security company in the Valley. I have yet to see the code he can't break and rewrite. Hence, my earlier comment about getting my hands on the source code.
Different strokes for different folks. It makes our towns go round...
