Coin earnings!

cankiss: Can you imagine if we got that kind of revenue for EACH of our businesses? People wouldn't have to buy a jillion Stock Exchanges or jailbreak their cell! LOL!!!

I built something like forty stock exchanges and converted my buildings all into offices. All of my buildings were below 100k popularity at the time and i was reeling in 70 million per 10 hours for a restraunt that was 100 popualrity and only a level seven! With my 18 buisnesses at the time i was getting like 1billion every 10 hours crazzy!

ashbyyokosuka: Sorry to hear about so many missing vehicles in your town.
I do think part of the requirement is to have X number of roads. I was missing the taxi so when I increased roads, the taxis finally appeared. Another thing I noticed, at least for the taxi stand--must be next to a road. I had my taxi stands isolated and no taxis. My gingerbread houses aren't next to any roads, so no elves. My elves are red with green hats. I don't remember seeing yellow ones.

Aw5678: Yay! You have cupids now too! No, I don't think you were mistaken. After us comparing notes, it sure seems now that we can get "X" by different ways.

I added a request to Solsville MT2 page to ask Booyah to address the problem of missing items. Hopefully the next update we'll all have our people, critters and vehicles. I want my own cupid!!! LOL!

People and critters

One of the reasons I enjoy My Town 2 is observing all the people and critters running around. While exploring, I saw some things that I do not have so I started this informal list thinking it might be fun for everyone to read and eventually could add to Solsville fyi list.

I'd like to ask for help to complete it and to correct as necessary.
Are there other MT residents that you have that aren't listed here?

purple and white ice cream truck - playground, which was one of the earliest goals to be completed.
blue VW bus - appeared in my town early
yellow VW bus - might be from the 60's House
white public transportation bus - bus station
yellow taxicab - taxicab stand
red fire truck - fire house
yellow school bus - elementary school
police black and white - police station
red convertible - mansion
purple and pink bus - Metro Fashion Museum (Wonder)
turkey and pilgrim - turkey farm (limited 2011 item)
elves - ginger bread house (limited 2011 item)
brown (corgi, spitz) and white dogs - dog park
white ambulance with red cross - hospital
white mail truck - post office
mummy, flying witch on broom, frankenstein - (limited 2011 Halloween but unk which items gave them)
blue sedan - ?
red sedan - Townhouse
yellow sedan - ?
blue open bed truck - ?
red open bed truck - ?
yellow pickup/open bed truck - Trailer Home
dark haired man wearing top hat and monocle - Modern Villa

Besides the Metro Fashion Museum, do any of the other Wonders give people or critters?
Superbowl - anything?
flying cupid - Valentine Cupid Fountain (but mine isn't working )

Does the Military Base give any vehicles: tank? jeep?

My suspicion is that multiple Housing types will give some of the same vehicles.
There also seems to be some inconsistency--some people don't get the items while others receive them without having to buy anything.

Modern villas will also give you a red convertible. Blue villas
give red convertibles too

LOL! You're as hopeless as I am! I've got that character, too. He appeared in my game after I franchised Facebook. I don't know if there's a corollary there, though.

I got mad and deleted the museum. Now I have the Biodome. It looks better in my town even if it doesn't help me much. Between buying some new housing and decorations, my amassed wealth has dropped WAY down. See ow why ot takes me a week to save enough coins to buy a piece of land?

Oh well... it's not like I have anything else to do (snort). Unfortunately, the lovely disease has attacked my lower spine again, so I literally can't get out of my chair without my back collapsing and my hitting the floor. So I guess I'll actually have to work or watch my town.

Hmm... maybe I should do some rearranging...

More evidence that different items can give the same thing. I don't have the New Year's Stage but I do have the Metro Fashion Museum, which gave me the purple bus.

Beats the hell out of me LOL.

Actually, the Cupid comes from the Cupid fountain. Monocle Man, on the other hand, is a bit of a mystery right now. I also have another dude with an off-kilter top hat and a monocle who came from the Modern Villa, but this other guy is different.

After people mentioned the flying cupids, I went to my town and looked and looked... And I couldn't find him. I looked a few different times. There's just too many people, and too much stuff to look through...

But today I spotted one in a little plot of land I have vacant and cleared. Otherwise I think it would've been hopeless! Just keep your peepers peeled! You'll spot him!

It's funny, when my town was small and didn't have much going on, I think I appreciated the detail more... Now, only when I zoom in and really look specifically for something, do I notice all the types of people and the fun little quirks. I think I've become too 'big picture' lol I do love the little dogs and the kid riding the coin-op toy in front of the mega mall!

Cool! I didn't totally pay attention to the franchise amount I got. Think it was like 87,500 in coins.

Curious as to what you paid...at 155k popularity, it's my #1 property but the current franchise popularity level is probably far lower as per Booyah's coding changes.

Also, it appears you can change location again, as a few users have pointed out. The inability to do so may have been related to a temporary glitch rather than Booyah again meddling with the game. What with the business cap, I have not investigated the matter myself.

Aw5678: How true! After I remodeled my businesses to what they should be, it was so cluttered that I couldn't appreciate, or see!, the details of all the characters and items. I ended up converting most back into the same reddish office buildings. It's easier on the eyes. Plus i get the higher revenue.

I had the exact same problem trying to add him, I emailed Booyah support and they're looking into it apparently. Still can't find him, if I try to re-add him then it just says we're already friends.
