Big Bridge, I Totally Agree
In MHOpinion, I think the ones of you that have asked for haelp has xeemed to have gotten or at least a response from Booyah. (From what I have read). In my book, even if they can't/wont fix something, if they write a response, that goes ALONG WAY IN MY BOOK
ANYDAY !!!!
It is in their and our best interest that I am sure they read these forums. Who knows, one of our mayors might be a Booyah under cover boss.....never know...
Anyway, For both sides of the coin, We have learned alot from Booyah, and they have learned alot from us mayors. We have helped them to " advance the game". I hope they hurry soon, my nicely manicured town is hoarding up again. I cant buy any VIP mansions because of the buck issues. If they make it little easier to get bucks, then the specials will probably be Dc'd by then and I and others wont be able to buy. Still can't upgrade much of my business to higher levels cause of not many bucks, and what I have I am trying to save them for whatever comes around.
I am just taping that 3 min button like crazy with the lightening bolt to help speed up the jobs so I can upgrade to a higher level on my businesses.
Ok, got to simmer and try to think of something else to write about.....can you tell its my day off????

Thank you so very much........

I just have to put in my $5.00 worth (inflation).
I couldn't agree more with what Big Bridge just said. People seem to be quick to complain and demand upgrades, new buildings, more land, more bucks... but few are willing to shell out real money to buy bucks and help support the company (I've stated my position on freeware before and won't bore you with it again). I think a great many of you are programmers, so you know how everything works - how much code has to be written and tested, how much money programmers make (generally) and where the money for salaries comes from, trying to please everybody with new releases. I think Booyah lurks the boards, too. It's a veritable fount of information for them. Do they benefit from having us play? Absolutely. Do we enjoy playing? I do, and I think almost all the people here do, too. It's a symbiotic relationship.
Like many of you, I was playing this game before the "2" change, and we didn't have anywhere near as many things as we do now. As you know, I was a hypocrite and did the SE thing to get a lot of coins fast, although I never really felt good about it. I stopped when I thought I had an obscene amount of coins (and after taking a ration of &(@T^_!^ from Mr. Goddess), and have now returned my town to a new and improved version of what it was. If I had unlimited real money, I'd buy more bucks, but there are real-life expenses which take up the majority of the paycheck. As it is, I only have 150 bucks, so I'm extremely grateful when someone franchises a business and I get some bucks tossed my way (thank you to those of you who recently did that - I've sent gifts).

Yes, I would love more land, more bucks, more... well, it really does mirror real life, doesn't it? Always more.
To be perfectly honest, one of the best parts of playing the game was finding this forum and having been given the chance to interact with people who share an interest. I've made a few good friends, and for that, I'm extremely grateful. I met my husband on CompuServe 21 years ago, and we've now been married for 20 years, so I have a soft spot for forums and real-time chat. There is a lot of really good information here, and I'm looking forward to interacting on the new board.
I've had a few issues where Booyah had to intervene and set things right, and they did so promptly and very courteously. I have absolutely no complaints with their service and have enjoyed my interactions with them. Some companies still care about their customers, and I think Booyah is one of them.
So there it is. Real-life circumstances have a way of making you see what's really important and what's merely fun. In the grand scheme of things, it just doesn't matter. It really doesn't.
(now off my soapbox and back in my chair, returning you to your regular programming)
Oh, licat? My fingers are crossed for you (although I'm secretly hoping you're able to get that new iPad).
