For the Mt. Fuji mountain, where you get to shake and collect the coins. It costs around 442 green bucks which if you want to buy comes up around 45 USD.

you're right, it's too much. but it's not an upgrade. it's just a feature that you don't have to buy. but if you want it badly, you can always ask people to franchise your businesses. there are some people here that help us when we ask or send them a population gift.
candy land is clearly one of them, u must have seen his name a lot on this forum. there is sportsdevon, kevinator, wetdream land and stafa too. i don't have all of their ids but u can find it on our proboards forum and ask them to help you.

No probs. Give you a tip. Try and acquire a much more higher ranking business. It will make franchising you (for the maximum 50 bucks that you can get) a lot easier.

. I'm not sure, but I think if you gift bucks I think the receiver only gets 1 buck. Generally speaking, people who franchise you for bucks and do not keep your business, do not need bucks themselves (there are of course, exceptions).
You can only franchise in coins if you are in the same location. E.g. You are in NY and you franchise a NY business, then you pay coins and the receiver gets coins. If you franchise from Paris, you will be charged bucks and the receiver also gets bucks. The maximum amount of bucks anyone can get is capped at 50. So, even though I franchise your business at 2,000 bucks, you will only get 50 bucks.
This is one of the benefits of having your eldest brother working at Booyah!

I just started playing MyTown 2 a few days ago and I'm enjoying it. I have a question though. What exactly does it mean to franchise a business? I don't completely get the concept.
And what happens if you do not use roads in your city to conserve space. I don't think I'd do this, but I'm simply wondering. Also, do a lot of you sell your older houses and stuff and replace them with newer buildings that give you a higher population?

For those of you who have bought all their land, how much did you pay for the last square? I'm up to 300k and it's taking me 4 days to get that much. If BooYah adds more land, I wonder if the price will keep going up?

I can help you there, pal. The last square of land currently costs 2,100,000 coins. It may seem an exhorbitant amount, and Booyah definitely will increase the price of land beyond that amount (hopefully they won't go back to charging green bucks - originally, the last 9 plots all cost 50 green bucks; they changed it to coins after a massive outcry by the customers).
However, it isn't that hard to generate a lot of coins. The two main ways are:
1. Stock Exchange trick - buy a bunch of stock exchanges at 30,000 coins a piece, and remodel all of your businesses as offices. With the 20% office bonus from each one, with just 5 stock exchanges you will be doubling your money each time you do a job. You can fit 4 stock exchanges on a single plot of land. Each new stock exchange ramps up the income. Once you are above 10 stock exchanges, you'll open up the remaining land with ease. If you really go crazy, you will never need coins again (I had 75 stock exchanges at one time, and in one day was over 100 billion in coins). Once you reach a healthy profit, you can start deleting the stock exchanges and making room for what you really want to build.
2. "Blitzing" - this is when you do a bunch of 3-minute jobs using the lightning bolt. Check into all of your businesses, which will then give you a lightning bolt on each one. That bonus is good for 1 hour. Now all your 3-min jobs will take a minute and a half. Cycle through your businesses, clicking and collecting coins, and keep doing 3-min jobs for the entire 1 hour. You should be able to do 40 jobs per business during that hour. That's a lot of coin generation, plus you'll get tons of experience along the way, allowing you to level up.
Gift me if you find these two tips helpful.

I just grabbed the Begins Cafe and put the Deli Upgrade on it ..for some reason it is really down today.. That happened to the mixer bar a few days ago but it went back up pretty quick..Maybe Booyah is letting us buck poor get a few good deals here and there.. Not sure..
