Anybody Playing My Town 2?

All my buildings are gonzo...I have all the land that I purchased and there are empty, all empty. This could be the end of My Town 2 for me as I would not like to start from scratch again.

How do I get it back? What is the glitch?

Please, please, please help.

Anyone can point me to Booyah so I can email them also.

I just lost my town as well. Unfortunately, the glitch is that Booyah, for the SECOND straight weekend, rolled out new features that their servers were obviously not able to support. That company is a joke. One weekend you can kind of understand, but for the same exact issues to crop up the very next weekend is just purely idiotic. Please do contact them and let them know that their product is weak. Their website is booyah.com. Click on the contact us tab, and fire away.

Thanks for the info, Pekman. Not jumping on your case, but the 5 mill coins is nothing. What will that clear, 2/3 of the board? Especially not when I was level 50 and had about 7 level 10 businesses. Booyah is as absolute joke. 2 weekends in a row with this crap, seriously?? I hope nobody pays for anything within that game, because it will get lost. Just a matter of time for everyone.

Wow..looks like a lot of people are hitting this glitch now.. Ugh.. wonder if they (Booyah) would do some math ..cause paying green bucks to buy a business and then pay bucks to level them all back up to tens... would cost wayyyy more than the 3000 they seem to be giving :/ wonder if sending them a screen shot ('I'm gonna go take one) would help.. It hasn't happened to me but like you said.. Might "just be a matter of time"

Exactly, GG. The thing that has me convinced that this will continue to happen is that they just had these huge errors/glitches/deletions just last weekend. Booyah clearly doesn't care about finding a real solution. One mistake is understandable, everyone makes mistakes. The EXACT SAME mistake 5 days later is unacceptable. But Booyah apparently thinks "throw em some bucks and coins and they'll get over it" is a good solution. It isn't. Especially when, as you pointed out more clearly than me, that restitution is nowhere near a replacement for what was built. And that's not even counting the time and effort put into the game, but just the physical game upgrades. It's ridiculous.

What I don't understand about the town deletions is the relocation trick most of us have used to change our locations. Why does the game come back exactly a you left it when you intentionally delete the game, but erases it completely due to a game glitch? So essentially if you wanted to reset your game and start over, Booyah wouldn't let you (trust me I tried); but if you want to keep your game and it glitches, you're SOL. Makes no sense.

Thanks for allowing me to vent. I hope somebody from Booyah reads this thread, because their operation is a joke. Seriously, how many glitches can one game have? People weren't getting their 1.5 x bucks, everyone has experienced the loss of progress glitch, then you have the doomsday glitch many have had. If a company can't do better by their users than that, it deserves to go out of business.

Transfer iPhone game to iPad

Not sure if I am in the right forum here, sorry if I am not.

I have just bought an iPad 2 and just love it. Transferred all my apps from my iPhone to here and everything transferred at same levels etc except Tiny Town 2!

I have to start again, and was looking forward to being able to actually "see" what I am doing on the iPad rather than the small screen on the iPhone!

I am on level 33, population 73,115. I am also in a remote area in Australia so very few businesses and neighbors.

Can someone pl advise whether it's best to start again on iPad or whether there is a way that I can transfer my data over? I have logged into the Gamecentre as normal.

Could anyone confirm that those who haven't changed locations has lost their town due to this ongoing glitch?

I havent been affected by the issue as of yet, and i'm thinking perhaps it's when we change city locations, which I haven't, but i want to know if anyone else who has not changed locations to have lost their work??

I didn't change locations and lost my town earlier today also. I was at level 48 with a pop. of about 275k. Very aggravating as I was really enjoying the game especially after finding this board and the many tips found here. Can't see starting over if no resolution is found by Booyah.

Yeah I agree, candyland never fails to franchise me, getting an extra $50 bucks a day. I have two different towns on different devices (iPad + iPad) which I send him population, and without asking he franchises both my towns.

However as of recent I haven't been able to visit any towns due to the booyah's frustrating issues, but today I been getting more luck. If only I could send him more populatuon I would feel less guilty lol. But honestly he is a genuine star and If it wasn't for candyland would've put this game to bed ages ago

Why Popularity Stats are different when Franchising

Hey Guys

I have a question about the stats changing when looking at different towns.

I was fortune enough yesterday to travel down to a bigger city than where I live, so was exicted to add new friends to the game who I could franchise from.

I got back home, and it appears that if you 'friend' a town, then even when you return home, you can still franchise there businesses for coins - very useful!

But one thing I can't understand is, when I click on there "Stats" some businesses would have a popularity of say 700, but when I click on the Franchise button for that business, the popularity I would get, would only be say 100. Does anyone have any idea why this is?

Changing locations on the iphone

I started about two months ago and it definitely took a good month before I really started to figure the game out. The thing that vhanged the game for me was when I started only focusing on businesses with the highest popularity stats. Once I had Starbucks and mixer bar as well as all the other top businesses people started franchising from me like crazy and the cash bucks and coins started rolling in. Right now I have almost 30k in cash bucks all from getting my businesses franchised. I used that to finish my 10 hour jobs instantly to keep making tons of coins(only costs 3 bucks to instant finish a job). This was all only possible though because I finally figured out how I could change locations and purchase all the top businesses with coins rather than bucks. Only problem is that now I'm sorta bored because its like I conquered the game lol

We have all bought multiple stock exchange wonders(like 30 or more) and changed ALL of our businesses over to "offices" to multiply the coins way up to get a couple Billion tucked away... Then delete the S.E's and switch the office skins back to the decorative ones ..hope that helps
