Anybody Playing My Town 2?

Hi there. I have been playing this game for a few weeks now onmy iPhone. With no clue as to where I am going or doing. Then I bought an iPad and wanted to load my game into it but it didn't take and it was suggested that I start a whole new town. Which I have now done.
So I am at different levels with each and although having fun and having found this forum I am beginning to think I need to do more.
My iPad ID:36506146 (melzzzy's town). Is new and slowly and I mean slowly building. Pop: 3760
iPhone ID: 33855710 (melzzzy's town) has a pop of 91,155.
I live in a small town in Tasmania Australia that has very few businesses etc. on the iPhone ID I changed all my businesses to offices. Bought 3 stock exchanges but don't understand how to stack them? I want to buy mt fuji but will never get there.
Don't know how to franchise nor how to get anyone to do it and what does this mean really?
Someone left me a "gift" and I gifted back but I didn't "friend" them and can't remember their name to do so after the fact is there a way of finding out?

I am however playing TinyVillage which, IMO, seems far better than My Town 2.

I've been lurking on here awhile, and have learned a ton of helpful information. I've actually started gifting some of the regs, in silent appreciation.
I'm primarily concerned with the aesthetics of my town, but would appreciate some bucks to purchase wonders and such. I'm not 100 percent sure how that works, but will reciprocate any help.

How do the bucks work, how do you get lots of them??
no, they look horribly in my opinion.
if you need more population I will franchise some of your businesses (couple of times) until you have enough bucks to buy the "Intergalactic Spaceport" and "Statue of Liberty"

I would suggest you to get the Mount Fuji and the Intergalactic Spaceport.
Just tell me when you need more bucks and I'll franchise you again.
I'm losing the plot with thus game. How some of you have so many bucks I don't know are you spending lots of money on the game? I've used my bucks finishing land and businesses quickly. I wanted space to make the town look nice and not crowded. Guess I should have saved them and bought some of the wonders ? I didn't get $600 but I did have about $120. I'll keep plodding on. I'd like to franchise locally just using coins, do you earn as much as you would if you bought a business though. Takes ages to up my population levels to by one business. Can someone remind me how much money/coins you can have before the counter trips and you end up losing it? I have $94,798,537. And as someone else asked what is 'stacking' your stock exchanges. I have about 35 and about to start selling them off. How many should I keep??

You franchised 2 of my buildings. (Marina Bay Sands and Changi Airport) and now i am closer to mt fuji! (currently at 250 bucks =] )

If you already bought all the available land, about 100 mio should be more than enough for the next update (= more land). I would even say 50 is enough.

One method people got many bucks was by using hacks or glitches, as far as I know they don't work with the new updates.
Another option was through franchises, a while ago you got all the bucks someone spend on a business of yours.
Someone franchised one of your business for lets say 4000 bucks, you got 4000 bucks. But now they put a 50 bucks limit, if someone franchised your for an amount over 50, you'll get only 50 (or maybe less if the popularity ain't very high).
I will keep franchising businesses from you time to time, so you'll get more bucks

Im new to this site so please bare with me. Glad ive finally found somewhere i can possibly get some help from.
Been using MyTown 2 on my ipod for 4 weeks, have reached level 50, maxed out at 36 businesses, have 80 million coins( with the help of stacking stock exchanges, which ive now sold), but the one thing that has my head in bits is how can i make more bucks? its so frustrating. The most ive had at any one time is 9!!!! After reading a lot of posts on here i cant believe some people have had thousands of bucks!!!
Im from Newcastle, uk and dont have many businesses with high popularity near me so have franchised from places near me.
The business with the most pop i have is 7217.
And out of all 36 businesses i own, only 7 are below 1000.
My town is called Geordieland and my BooyahID : 35677417.
Id love to add things to my town to finish it off nicely, but finding bucks very hard to come by. If anyone could please give me any advice it would be very much appreciated.

From reading much further back in this thread - the coins started tripping at about 2 billion - but since then it seems to have been fixed and since you are far away from 2 billion - maybe you won't have to worry with that for a while... (Heck - valmorra a few posts up talks about having 5 billion!!)
Stacking is exactly what you are doing - you have multiples of the same thing to "stack" the benefits from it.
(Buildings don't literally "Stack" on top of each other folks...)
Keep as many as you want...
On the bottom right - tap Menu - then tap Social. You will have a new screen displaying other towns. At the bottom of it is (should be) 2 tabs - "Friends" and "Explore" If you have friends they will show up when you tap on the "Friends" tab...

I want to say thank a million to VAL for franchising one of my small businesses. I was so excited to see that. This forum is great. I currently reside in New York and I was wondering if anyone knows how I can check in a place that has a high population. When I started I franchised a couple businesses that were not a great choice but Im fine with it because they generate alot of extra money. If you have a great business send me your ID as I am finally getting the hang of things!
I want to buy some businesses with a high population since I live in New York but the funny thing I keep drawing blanks lol. Any suggestions are welcome!
