I really want to go with a larger phone this year, but I just don't know if the pro features are necessary for me. I have my Always-On display turned off on my 14 Pro, and I just really don't notice promotion very much on my phone.

Really tempted to just go with the 15+, and the pink color doesn't hurt my feelings. ;-p

Honestly I was until I saw the colors. I like the natural titanium over any of the regular iPhone colors. To me that is worth the $100 premium.

Strongly considering it. Have the regular 14 and wouldn't mind a bigger screen. I have never gone over my current size so it would be interesting to experience it.

It's a $300 difference from the plus to the pro max. If I didn't want to go to the larger phone I'd definitely keep my 14 pro.

PS - I know you get more storage, but I really don't need it. I have 210gb out of my 256 available.

Friend has the 14 Plus and misses the zoom. Looks like 15 Plus has pseudo zoom, which is better than nothing. Yeah, it's worth a look.

Most likely Plus especially since just because I want the bigger Max screen I need to pay an extra $100 even though I don't need 256. I actually would have rather had them make both Pros 256 min at $100 more.

I usually buy the iPhone Pro Max with the base memory each year. This year is the most underwhelming new iPhone (for that matter the watch too!). Apple wants to pay $100 more for the base iPhone 15 Pro max over last year's base model. I am going to give it a pass. The stock too fell 1.7% reflecting that Apple has put old wine in new bottles for this year and sales are going to be only restricted to those who replace them every 2-3 years. Bye Bye Apple. See you next fall.

I actually just noticed the 15 now has 2x zoom, and I actually think I like the yellow more than the natural titanium. The plus is also still lighter than the pro. You may be on to something here…

Really hate those 15 Plus colors, though.
I don’t mind muted colours but wish there was a more colourful one. However, Apple might have not yet figured out how to colour titanium in bright colours that won’t fade or discolour over time.

Remember the past discolouration issues with white iPhones?

$470 trade in value for my 1 year old 14+ = 🧐

Not sure since I paid $899 last year for the 14+.

That’s a good price, I bought my plus earlier this year for 535$ from Gazelle, and I’m at least going to upgrade to a 15 plus or maybe 15 pro max. Last years 14 PM was TOO HEAVY and too big, heavy camera bump. I like that the new 15PM is 10% lighter than last years model, and closer to the 14 plus which is a perfect SIZE AND WEIGHT.

The 15 is a banging phone. For some, it will be better to buy a 15 with upgraded storage than a base 15 Plus.

I am not sure the colours matter much if you plan to use a case.

Thinking of going from a 14 Pro to a 15 Plus. Wasn’t going to upgrade before, but the battery in this 14 Pro is poor, down to 87% health already.

The 15 Plus has nearly all what the 14 Pro has, and bigger screen.

Don’t think it’s worth going 14 Pro to 15 Pro, and the PM is too expensive, time to vote with our “feet” and sales.

Just the colours on the 15 to me are really poor. The Pro colours I really like.

So if do will have to be “boring” black or white, would much prefer a better more colourful option, the blue looks so washed out.

Decisions…..

Looking at eBay, they are going for around $600 less 10% fee, still $540 is better than $470 and I might hang onto it if I get the 15+.

Recently, I sold my 12 Pro on eBay (after a year switching to 14+) and got a good price - no buyer scams or false returns...

14+ I still like a lot - lighter weight, longer battery life than the 14PM that I also have from work.

Still thinking about it...
