Well, I’m not sure who manufacture the stand… but you can get it directly from this site below.

But I was told with that site… it takes awhile to receive it, but it’s the cheaper route. Unless you go to Amazon to order it from there.

Another tidbit… MacRumors is doing a giveaway on the stand.

Thanking you kindly. That’s really nice!

Sure, they have their shortcomings, but I've matured in my acceptance that these are just limitations and not inherent defects of the product.
Agreed! As I’ve said… I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the ride. Apple introduced meaningful features for iPadOS 15 specifically keyboard shortcuts to keep me optimistic. I’ve never thought the new keyboard shortcuts being narrowed would make such a delightful experience, but I’m still trying to get accumulated to the shortcuts…

Thanking you kindly. That’s really nice!
No problem! One thing I like about those stands, you can switch the stand to portrait whenever you do FaceTime. And you can use any keyboard of your choosing… along with using the larger Apple Trackpad. But only drawback compared to Magic Keyboard.. is the lack of portability.

My 12.9 is the first iPad I’ve had since the gen 1 iPad Air. Haven’t looked back. Hands down the best experience with a new Apple product I’ve ever had. Not fully, but 90% of the time it’s my go to over my M1 Mac Mini.

This is the first iPad that I’ve owned (used others for work purposes - and borrowed family members’ devices).

I love the the speed, the RAM, the storage.

What really gets me is the screen: the 12.9 form factor, the vibrant colours and the 120Hz display. I really notice the difference when I look at my girlfriend’s iPad Air 60Hz display, it makes me realise that I can’t go back.

Lol, isn’t that just tech life?? “this new thing I got is great but in hindsight, I could have got last years one for less and been about similarly happy.“

I'm expecting to be happy with the 2021 for 2+ years longer than the 2018/2020. The 2017 lasted me until now and really, the only gripe I have is RAM and storage which the 2021 has plenty of. :p

If I get 2018/2020 now, I'll probably just end up replacing it with a 2021 three years later. I don't resell so that would end up costing me likely around $2400-2500 (+tax) total so really, $2000 (+tax) for the 2021 now is saving me money in the long run. :p

So glad i went for the 12.9 over the 11" i was so hesitant at first, but honestly, the 12.9 is not that big you get used to it, to me the 11" just felt "meh" didnt really fit the need of anything. the 12.9, you can use along, with keybard or as a folio, highly versatile! the only heavy option is with Keyboard, but you dont always have to have that! For example travel, i wont bring the Mgk, just folio....

Yeah, pretty much. I fell into the "iPadOS 15 is going to be mindblowingly amazing and is going to fully utilize the M1" trap, but even though I still could have returned it after the lackluster keynote, I decided to stick with it. After all, hey, maybe iPadOS 16 will be spectacular! :)

I’m very much enjoying mine. I didn’t have an iPad for the last few years as I gave mine to my stepdaughter, but I’ve been using my 12.9” daily and love it. Could I maybe have bought last year’s model? Probably. But I do very much enjoy the screen and I do live in 5G coverage areas, so I’m pretty happy with it.

I really like my 2018 iPad Pro and it's still so fast and capable that I see no reason to upgrade. These things are made to last. The new multitasking features look great, but I do wish there were more Mac apps ported to iPad. Lightroom on it is great though, and I use it all the time.

Here is one reason I upgraded. Decided to take pictures on my iPad for the iris and peonies blooming. Here’s a couple for you guys to enjoy :). I am by no means a professional artist/photographer/etc. Just a average person who is truly happy with her iPad..

Lovely pictures. I wish we could get peonies to grow around here, but it’s way too hot for them.

I'm happy with my 11 but truthfully it doesn't do anything different my iPad 7th Gen did.

Let me guess.. iPad is in your hands. There is a moment you would like to cherish, you put down the iPad and grab your phone?
Of course, the best camera is the camera in your hand at the time you need to take a shot!

I haven't been in that situation with my iPad yet though. In emergency situations like that my phone is usually nearby or in hand. If I am prepared I pull out the Nikon!

I'm working with Lightroom as well. I can only complain about the battery life when using Lightroom. It just consumes too much, therefore I do the minimal workflow there and the rest with Affinity Photo. Affinity Photo (tested today because at work I designed for over 8 hours on the iPad) gets me a fantastic battery life (over 8 hours and 12 % left), Lightroom are draining fast: Probably 3,5 - 4 hours and the iPad will be empty.
Can you confirm this?
