Loving my 11" M1. But in hindsight, I would have been just fine with a 2020 model for $150 less.

Agreed! As I’ve said… I’m just going to sit back and enjoy the ride. Apple introduced meaningful features for iPadOS 15 specifically keyboard shortcuts to keep me optimistic. I’ve never thought the new keyboard shortcuts being narrowed would make such a delightful experience, but I’m still trying to get accumulated to the shortcuts…Sure, they have their shortcomings, but I've matured in my acceptance that these are just limitations and not inherent defects of the product.
No problem! One thing I like about those stands, you can switch the stand to portrait whenever you do FaceTime. And you can use any keyboard of your choosing… along with using the larger Apple Trackpad. But only drawback compared to Magic Keyboard.. is the lack of portability.Thanking you kindly. That’s really nice!
Lol, isn’t that just tech life?? “this new thing I got is great but in hindsight, I could have got last years one for less and been about similarly happy.“Loving my 11" M1. But in hindsight, I would have been just fine with a 2020 model for $150 less.

Yeah, pretty much. I fell into the "iPadOS 15 is going to be mindblowingly amazing and is going to fully utilize the M1" trap, but even though I still could have returned it after the lackluster keynote, I decided to stick with it. After all, hey, maybe iPadOS 16 will be spectacular!Lol, isn’t that just tech life?? “this new thing I got is great but in hindsight, I could have got last years one for less and been about similarly happy.“
Hmm.. so you don't have the newest iPad Pro?I really like my 2018 iPad Pro and it's still so fast and capable that I see no reason to upgrade. These things are made to last. The new multitasking features look great, but I do wish there were more Mac apps ported to iPad. Lightroom on it is great though, and I use it all the time.
Lovely pictures. I wish we could get peonies to grow around here, but it’s way too hot for them. Here is one reason I upgraded. Decided to take pictures on my iPad for the iris and peonies blooming. Here’s a couple for you guys to enjoy . I am by no means a professional artist/photographer/etc. Just a average person who is truly happy with her iPad..
Really?? It was like 38 celcius the other day.. that’s hot!!Lovely pictures. I wish we could get peonies to grow around here, but it’s way too hot for them.
Let me guess.. iPad is in your hands. There is a moment you would like to cherish, you put down the iPad and grab your phone?Never thought of shooting a photo with the iPad due to its size.
Of course, the best camera is the camera in your hand at the time you need to take a shot!Let me guess.. iPad is in your hands. There is a moment you would like to cherish, you put down the iPad and grab your phone?
I'm working with Lightroom as well. I can only complain about the battery life when using Lightroom. It just consumes too much, therefore I do the minimal workflow there and the rest with Affinity Photo. Affinity Photo (tested today because at work I designed for over 8 hours on the iPad) gets me a fantastic battery life (over 8 hours and 12 % left), Lightroom are draining fast: Probably 3,5 - 4 hours and the iPad will be empty.I really like my 2018 iPad Pro and it's still so fast and capable that I see no reason to upgrade.
