I recently got an iPhone 6s and it is so thin and beautiful i just can't put a case on it. I've tried a few cases and they just make it to bulky and add to much weight. It just feels so much better without protection. Anyone else refuse to put a case on their Iphone?

Here. Naked 6s and Air2.
I have tried a few cases too but they either got in the way of swiping back or did not feel right.

When I switched from the 4 to the 5, I put a case on it. I was having a hard time adapting to thinness and lack of weight, and it was slipping out of my pocket more than I liked. I think someone in one of these forums made the point that they realized they were putting a case on it to keep it pristine, but they never got to enjoy that it was pristine because it was buried in a case-- that kinda spoke to me, so I took the case off. It hasn't made a difference-- my 5 is still scratchless front and back. I only keep in in my front pocket with paper money, so it's a pretty benign environment.

Most people I know spend close to $100 on cases to protect their phones and then more money invested on cases because they either get bored of their case or their case got dirty or old looking or maybe their glass screen protector broke and had to purchase another one. So my case and screen protector is AppleCare Plus!

I don't have a case or screen protector on my iPhone 6s. I didn't have one for my iPhone 6 or my iPhone 5s. I like to invest on AppleCare+ and if my phone breaks I can get a replacement (yes, I'm aware there's a deductible). Also, I change phones every year so when a new iPhone comes out, I call AppleCare, I tell them "hey I'm getting a new iPhone, I won't need a protection plan on my old one, can I get a refund for the time I didn't use it?" - Last time I believe they gave me around $60, maybe a little bit more I think close to $70, but I'm not 100% sure. It was definitely more then $50 - and then I used that money towards the purchase of AppleCare Plus for my iPhone 6S.

So yeah, no case at all here. I haven't had a broken screen ever -knock on wood- so I haven't had to shell out the money for the replacement. I just love the way the phone looks!

Well, the 6 has the same features and functionality as the 5s.. Your argument is invalid.

Hahaha wow. My opinion on the 6 series phones has obviously offended you quite deeply.

The iPhone 6 is a different phone to the 5, which is what I was upgrading from. So, despite me preferring the design of the 5 series, I decided to upgrade to the 6, and then later to the 6S, based on the new features these phones have available. I suggest you do some reading to understand the differences.

Not insignificant performance differences with the CPU, GPU, which impact all use cases with the phone.
Better camera sensor, etc.
Screen size.
Probably other things I'm forgetting.

If this what I have is too much weight, you have a serious problem. Looks good and some protection with screen protector. ( Spigen Ultra Hybrid )

A case goes on mine the second it leaves the box. I am less concerned about looks and how pretty the phone is.

I lost always put on a back body protector to make sure it doesn't get scratched on the back. I also have an Apple leather case for those moments when I think extra protection is worthwhile - such as weekend trips or day trips where I only take a backpack and "throw in" my iPhone with other stuff in the front pocket.

For the iPhone SE,mi plan on getting a back body protector again, not so sure about a case yet though...

I can't go without a case no matter how gorgeous I think the iPhones are. I only ever went naked when I was using a Galaxy S3... Big mistake. I have major OCD and will publically and very vocally obsess about the most minor of scratches that you can't see without shining a very bright light upon the device.

So no, I can't bring myself to go naked with a device no matter how advanced Apple's glass and 7000 Series aluminum is! Which is a shame because the iPhone 5S had my favorite design of any of the iPhones and I'm getting an SE. Maybe one day if they use sapphire crystal for the display and the metal gets even stronger.

Depends on my mood and environment. If I know I am going to be at home or at my desk all day - no case. But if I am going to Disney or out and about all day, I will put on a snap case.

I like cases to add color/style. I really like the Elago slim cases.

I'm glad you enjoy it and fits your needs. :)

For me, it detracts greatly from the aesthetic of the phone, both from a looks perspective as well as feel; it doesn't look as good and I hugely prefer the feel of the phone itself in my hand, not plastic case.

Also, I'm not willing to subject my phone to a year's worth of micro-scratching that is impossible to avoid when you use cases (due to grit build up inside the case). My phones are always in 'like new' condition after a year and I'm always able to sell them for top dollar when I get my new iPhone.

I have an iPhone 6s and it's my first iPhone. It's also the first smartphone I've ever owned that seems to actually benefit from a case from a feel in hand/ergonomics perspective so I bought a thin minimalist Spigen case. I always kept my previous phones naked because I'm generally an extremely careful guy with my expensive gadgets, but this 6s is something else. It's like handling a bar of soap. Worse still is trying to pick it up off a flat table. There's not much to grab onto and you have to sort of slide a finger or thumb under one side and tilt it before you can get a confident grasp on it. Having said that, I'm still going to try to rock it naked because it just looks really pretty without a case and the new materials used in this phone seem really durable. I watched a video where a guy dropped a naked 6s repeatedly from various heights from multiple angles directly onto concrete and basically nothing happened. I'M COUNTING ON YOU, YOUTUBE GUY!!

Honestly, do you think Tim Cook uses a case on his personal iPhone?

i hate cases; one of the reasons I prefer 5s (now se) phone is of its smaller size and square edges; once i grab to it never is able to slip out of my hand (I hold it on each side with and on top with one finger (trip-grip)...with my current 6s i have to be extra careful as it is large and slippery with yucky round edges...and it is too big for me to grab it with finger on top of device

I can't figure out how most people can go caseless and have immaculate phones. I'm known for babying my gear but they still occasionally have accidents. For instance, a month back we were out on our patio having a fire sitting in the dark and I forgot my iPhone was laying on my lap. Even in a case with a lip around the top it skid on the uneven patio rocks and scuffed the top and bottom just above and below the display itself (lucky!). That's the first time I've legit damaged an iPhone in a case. But I can think of several other times that has happened over the years and the case saved it, such as forgetting my iPhone was on my lap when getting out of a car and it slides onto concrete, etc. I even had a new one happen the other day where I went to slide my iPhone into my pocket and it somehow pushed against the lip of my pocket and flipped and I thought it was sliding in but it was on the outside and it went tumbling across the floor. I mean, I'm not a clumsy person but things are bound to happen at least once or twice per year if you're an active person going out, running around and doing things in normal life situations. I even have AppleCare+ now on the iPhone Upgrade Plan and don't want to risk it.
