all apps for iphone and ipod touch will work on it has anyone's status from billing information received changed yet mine hasn't
mine just changed an hour ago from billing info received to origin scan in Louisville.

No change here in Washington State. I do not think mine will change until sometime tonight when they start the process of sorting the packages.
If it does not change in the morning, when (if) my iPad gets delivered, I am going to show the UPS driver my computer and demand to know why the tracking was not working, just to annoy him, after I get the iPad in my hands that is.
To bad we could not get all the people whom pre-ordered the iPads on the UPS tracking site at the same time, bet it would mess with their system a little bit.
Actually they have really been up on it. I have called 3 times over the past week in the middle of the day and didn't have to hold - not one time.
They were expecting the calls of panic, so put extra agents on the phones.
The case shipped this morning via FedEx, tracking it working right on with that. Too bad UPS was not as accurate.
UPS driver was going through the neighborhood so I waved him to stop, asked him if tomorrow was a big day. He grinned at me and said ALL the drivers and trucks were geared to work. Then asked me if I had ordered an iPad, so I said yes, and he said, 'See ya tomorrow then.'
just got of the phone and the rep found additional information saying that the ipad passed threw customs April 1 so it should be in my area now ,,,,,I think the tracking information is being hidden by apple and UPS she said the info was hidden in her system and as off yet online in UPS it has no info and the status has not changed
UPS probably does not want 'hoards of hungry beasts' pounding down their doors trying to get at their iPads before launch day.
yea but you know how easy it would be if your friends with someone at your local UPS hub or center whatever there called and she said all ipads are supposed to be delivered by noon Saturday
That would be nice, but I get the impression that they have all taken a vow of silence on the iPad front! All the run-a-rounds they have given panic stricken purchasers about why the tracking data was not showing. All they had to do was put up a notice saying 'No Tracking Data is Being Shown At This Time' or something like that. Instead of playing mind games with us.

what you haven't heard the stories about the developers that got a ipad prototype. They had to put boards over the windows and the room had to be dark and the ipad had to be chained to a desk and every night the ipad would send reports to apple of what the ipad was used for.Try men in black with weapons that don't exist and are from the year 3013

I just got an email from Apple, they just shipped the dock I ordered. So they sent the case this morning and the dock this afternoon. What a waste of shipping material!
I liked the triple use the case from the Apple store does. I am going to get the keyboard later on. I write a lot so the keyboard will be useful.
