Anyone else still in "Billing Information Received"?

I think it is more then just a few, probably way more have not changed status. Not everyone gets a chance to jump on line and start digging through all the google pages to find a forum to get on and find out what is going on.

Personally what I think they did was they random scanned each pallet of iPads being shipped, just for their tracking purposes. The rest is being suppressed so you really do not know when they are at the local distribution center. I think UPS does not want to deal with a bunch of people pounding on their door demanding their iPads before launch date.

The thing is, it would have been better not to have released the tracking data at all. They could have just sent out a message that said, "Your Package Has Been Shipped." And left it at that until late Friday night then sent out an email with the tracking data.

(that is what makes this even more frustrating...ordered as soon as they were up on the site, and now I am being left in the dark)
 
Looks like I'm SOL. After talking with UPS a minute ago, it sounds like if your status still only shows "Billing Information Received" and nothing else-- your iPad has not shipped and will not be delivered tomorrow.

Hope you guys all get yours tomorrow. Gee, even with mine in the US i'm hoping it arrives - not sure i want to deal with the 14yo teen girl if it doesn't!

This is not true, they have ipads sitting in hubs right now that just haven't been scanned yet, it just means your ipad is likely at your local hub already. You'll get it delivered tomorrow.

I hope you're right, but the rep I talked to at UPS was pretty confident the package has not shipped or it would be in the system by now.

Just FYI:

I ordered at around 4AM PDT on Friday the 26th, and mine just switched from "Billing Information Received" to "In Transit" and is now in Louisville, KY.

Maybe it will get to Sacramento, CA by tomorrow :)

Does anyone's UPS tracking page show the scheduled delivery date?
Mine does not show anything of the sort..only shipped date.

Also my apple.com order page used to show "delivers by 4/3" but now it just shows "shipped March 31st"

mine just shows billing info received on the 4/2/10 but before it said 31 but it kept changing tell yesterday
 
While I am still at "Billing Info Received", on Twitter ThomasAtUPS has told multiple people that even those of us stuck like myself should still have their iPads tomorrow.

Call UPS and ask them it passed costumes and when mine did yesterday i don't think there scanning all the ipads only when they have to like for example customs
 
Ordered mine 3-12-10, 5:34AM and mine finally just changed (within the last 35 minutes to in transit!) prior to that... Billing Info Received.

I am so excited!

Okay... back to buying an insane amount of apps.

Here's to all of us getting them within the next 24 hours!
