The SE 2020 is looking like the perfect upgrade from my 6S. I understand why some dislike the large-bezel look now that we have the notched phones, but I personally don't mind one bit.

Hate bringing this up, but any issues so far with screen uniformity? My 6S is quite awful when compared to the XR or 11, with the top being noticeably yellowish and dimmer.

Got mine Today, Everything migrated over from my my old iPhone 8, simple transition, seems to be a bit faster but I have not performed any tests…

I totally don't mind the bezels.
I like the aesthetic of neatly-framed content and I'm averse to weird sloppy borders, so the notch really bugs me in a visceral way. It's so goofy looking.
And I haven't noticed and uniformity issues with the screen at all so far. But also I didn't have them in the 6s.

Received the SE at 1PM, setup and mailed out my 11 Pro Max about an hour later to someone that bought it.

I'm done with the yearly upgrade cycle to the best iPhone, the SE is an insanely good value and does everything I need it to, I got it for $200 switching to Xfinity Mobile from Verizon.

It isn't a big change for me at all since my work phone is an iPhone 8.

I have Verizon and have been contemplating the same switch. How do you like Xfinity Mobile so far?!

No disrespect meant to anyone who bough the SE, but I could never go back to a phone with those bezels.

Enjoy paying $800 for that, then. Got my SE today and loving it so far. Upgraded from a 4.5 year old 6S, which honestly I had no complaints about. Just figured this upgrade is cheap enough it’s hard to turn down and I should get another 4 years out of it.

This thing is so fast! Everything just happens instantly. Honestly... I don’t know why anyone would get the more expensive iPhone. This one does everything I need it to. I’m probably Apple’s worst nightmare from a profitability point of view, but they haven’t added any compelling new features to these phones for years.

The only reason these bezels wouldn't bother me after using a samsung device is that it's actually nice to hold a device upon the the front without accidentally triggering a screen press or touch.

I think if I moved from my current note device I'd miss the AOD display more than I think.

Curious to ask, can you swipe from the bottom to the top to access the quick settings like the original SE? Or do you need to swipe down from the top right like on the iPhone X/XS/11 phones?

^ If you mean accessing Control Center, it’s swipe up from the bottom.

I really like mine, just bummed it is a mostly for work phone (I can deal with the battery life and echo on some phone calls just fine because it is for work. If they cannot deal, tough).

I love the size, the weight, responsiveness, color and the speaker is surprisingly good too.

To no one’s surprise, the 2019 iPad takes garbage photos, so I can not post pictures.

Only my second day with it and haven’t noticed any difference yet. I think the real test will come in congested situations and with the pandemic I don’t think I’ll be testing that out anytime soon.

Only regret so far is I wish I had tried it a couple years ago.

I definitely love the idea of a smaller phone, although I'm certainly not sure how I'd like it in practice after years of a big phone, although I think it would be somewhat refreshing.

One positive is that I'm gonna be getting my granddaughter a phone later this year, so the SE would have a home even if I decided I didn't like it, and since I would be highly likely to upgrade in the fall if I keep my 11, there really wouldn't be any harm done.

I have the 11 Pro and love the idea of having a smaller phone again. What holds me back is the bigger screen and higher resolution on the 11 allows me to read e-mails, texts or check something online without my glasses first thing in the morning or when out with my dog which is a convenience I'm not ready to give up. Give the SE a try and pass it on to your granddaughter if you don't like it. Win, Win.

That's my plan - just ordered it in white. ATT had a good deal if you upgraded ($10/month - no upgrade fee if you did it online), and since my daughter upgrades through Apple, there was an upgrade available (I'll just stick my SIM card in it before turning it on so it doesn't activate with my daughter's number).

If having a small phone isn't for me, it'll be easy enough to pass it on to my granddaughter.

These no brainer pricing deals, if you're already in the market for a line, or in case of Walmart ok with financing for a bit before even a penalty free buyout option, are truly no brainers.

especially since SE2 will be a longevity model, like SE1 was the latest silicon at the time for a fraction of the price in a binned parts body.

Are you able to use a long press to preview messages on lock screen?

Congratulations! White would be my choice also. I think it's beautiful. I'm anxious to hear how you like the SE compared to your X. I had the iPhone 6, 6S, 7, 7S and 8 and loved them all.
