Just wanted to see some pics, hear some reviews, etc.
On YouTube people are raving about it as the phone for families, phone for the rest of the masses who don’t want to spend over $500 but want something reliable and that’ll last. It’s not for everyone and people here, geeks like me wont be satisfied with one, but for everyone else I recommend the se for the affordable phone with almost no compromises.

Can you confirm if you can long press to preview a message or quick reply from the lock screen?
Whoops. You can reply via swipe and selecting „Show“, but currently not via simple long-press. Sorry, misread that. My bad.

Well, I'm toying with selling my 11 for this, so I'm really anxious to hear people's thoughts.

From someone who is writing this from the 11 inch Pro — the iPad Pro is a far more powerful and capable device, especially if you are a content creator (particularly, writing and art). Please don’t trade this for a phone.

Edit: Woops, didn’t realise you mean‘t the phone 😅

Methinks this was about the iPhone 11.

EDIT: Good advice anyways :)

I got mine and I love it. Question for every other SE owner in here -

I noticed if I tap anywhere on the top half of the phone (especially near the camera) I hear a slight rattle noise. I shake the phone (to undo something) I can also hear a slight rattle near the camera. Is this normal?

What I noticed is that if it’s on a solid surface, it doesn’t happen. If I hold it and tap, it rattles.

Is that without the case as well?

I tried and I have it as well, but way quieter. Best guess would be the gyrosensor maybe.
That makes sense. I just notice it when I go to place the phone done on the desk and the upper part of the phone hits the desk as I lay it down.

So you have it to? Just not as loud.

I notice if you tap it with it facing downwards it click..if you tap it with the screen facing upwards nothing happens.

Yes, I only hear it when I shake the phone directly next to my ear in a completely silent room. Wouldn‘t be noticeable in a video.

Ah, so tapping the back upper portion does nothing?

That’s when I start to wonder if it’s normal since mine is louder.

Nope, can‘t reliably replicate a sound.
I think as long as nothing‘s broken, everything‘s good :) Your gyrosensor is working as it should, detecting portrait and landscape mode?

cancelled my Walmart preorder, to get it in store. Eligibility reset instantly.

picked up a 128gb white

I won the screen lottery wooo! looks great, clean bright uniform good colors and white whites and solid blacks. For a longevity model, this is key.

Also same AT&T deal, $0 upfront +just pay taxes on the subsidized price ($249), and $8.3 x 30 for $249 net.

Will buyout the phone after a month or two. Saddle brown 8 leather case on the way too!

Came with iOS 13.4

and curiously came with the stronger SIM ejector tool, whereas I saw others are getting the flat one that isn't made of liquid titanium whatever

my very first impressions are that white was the way to go!

The white colour really seems to be the pick of the bunch, I initially thought the PRODUCT (RED) was the one but the Panda look on the white is great!

6S to SE yesterday. I didn't realize they slightly moved the camera, so my case fits, but blocks the side of the camera.

What was your experience in jumping from the 6S to this one?

I was originally intending to wait for the next gen iphone so that I could get one with a great camera (especially for night). but man. i'm starting to get second thoughts.

How is the camera?

I think you’re being a bit pedantic. A slight ‘rattle’ doesn’t indicate anything is abnormal, it’s probably the mute button switch or the internal components for the camera.

I am looking to upgrade to the new SE from the original SE. Was getting ready to order through Verizon but the local Walmart is offering $200 off through July if purchased as an upgrade. Usually when I see something like this there is a catch, either new plan or additional line type of gimmick. The store associate is telling me neither are required, only that it be purchased on the 24 month installment plan and $40 activation (Verizon is waiving the activation if purchased through them, but at full retail). Has anyone taken advantage of this deal? Seems a bit too good to be true, especially since they tell me they have plenty in stock, other than red. Am I missing something the store associate isn't telling me? I have always been with Verizon and always bought phones directly from them. This would be my first Walmart cell phone purchase on my Verizon plan.

There’s been various comments peppered throughout the iPhone forum of members using the ‘Walmart‘ deal. I haven’t read any concerns in terms of ‘hidden requirements‘, but with Verizon’s $40 activation fee, you can request that they can waive it, [It depends who you talk to], but in light of the pandemic/recession, they may make an exception.

Same noise with mine. But happens also on iPhone 7 and 6.
Wait? Your SE does it to.

I understand the older models did it, but my wife’s 11 doesn’t, which is why I wanted to confirm. So yours is pretty much like mine?

do yourself a favor and buy the ONN (Walmart branded) TPU clear case for $3 if you get in on the Walmart deal at a B&M and don't have any reserve of 6s/7/8 cases like I didnt. it has a dotted back so it doesn't get streaks either.

not an amazing case by any means and will yellow like all TPU with time, but a good immediate holdover while waiting for another case... and $3.

Thought the phone being way smaller would make it easy to handle in hand, but I was always afraid of dropping it even after getting it last night. The aluminum sides don't have much grip with my dry hands (from washing them 100x a day recently)

excited to pair this white one with a saddle brown leather

What's the blue iphone? I don't recall ever seeing that one!
