I need more pictures of the white SE. need.

It is exactly as beautiful as you imagine. Got one for my wife and am very impressed. It looks gorgeous, it’s blazing fast, and the main camera is dramatically better than my 7. Portrait mode works a lot better than I expected too - it does a great job on difficult outlines like stray locks of hair. Seriously tempted to get one for myself and yes - in white!

Can you confirm if you can long press to preview a message or quick reply from the lock screen?

I'm using a note 9 and only things concerning me if I chose the SE.

Battery life : my current phone has 4000mah and it's a really good battery. I can happily get through the day even playing a bit of clash and streaming podcasts and still have between 30% and 40% battery at 9-10pm. I fear I'd not get anywhere near that. There are days where I'm out onsite and have forgotten to charge in morning or night before but if I'm back in the office by 2pm I'd not have suffered with a dramatic loss of battery!

Camera: I'm hearing it's good but do worry that it mu not take as good pictures as an older flagship such as mine in some scenarios. In my head it is a risk I might not like it and gave to keep it for two years until paid for.

Leaning towards an 11 at this point but had wanted to see what the SE2 was all about.

I‘m rocking the black 64 gig one. I must have really wanted it cause I’m using it with a case but no screen protector yet. I guess I missed the button and the size is easier on my smaller hands.

Given your usage and habit, I suggest you get a Apple battery case to use with the new SE. it will double the battery life of the phone’s battery.

Congratulations! White would be my choice also. I think it's beautiful. I'm anxious to hear how you like the SE compared to your X. I had the iPhone 6, 6S, 7, 7S and 8 and loved them all.

I actually have an 11, and haven't had this size since the 6, so it's gonna be interesting. My eyes aren't great either, but I can't use my 11 without reading glasses anyway, so I'm not expecting this to be any more of an issue in that regard.

We shall see.

6S to SE yesterday. I didn't realize they slightly moved the camera, so my case fits, but blocks the side of the camera.

5C to SE on Friday. Took longer than anticipated to get up to speed. Granted, I did not transfer from old phone, but it is still an awkward process.

1. Connect to Mac wifi
2. Add apple-ID credentials, two-step verification on Mac
3. Update OS
4. Install and delete apps, fix layout with Configurator 2, add own backgrounds etc
5. Add accounts for mail etc
6. Install and unlock operator esim
7. Tweak the system – took an hour to understand why the brightness keeps on changing despite turning off true tone and night shift. Auto-brightness is turned on in Accessibility for some reason – how stupid can it get?
8. Disable crap like Siri and spelling. Phone freezes a couple of times when tweaking, I have seen the same on Macs, some threads going out of controll and hijacks CPU. Why can't Apple just get its act together with these notorious bugs?
9. Load some content on phone. How to get ring tones from old phone to new? Complete mystery, but Apple isn't very helpful with such basic things.

Feels snappy though (when not freezing), and pretty good bang for the buck.

To put things into perspective: I did transfer from the old phone, 30 minutes flat everything - and I mean everything - was done. No more photos from iCloud to download, all ringtones present just like it was on the old 8+.

That is not the normal experience...

Either something was stuck consuming processor power or it’s faulty.

Just gpt notification it is coming Tuesday. Ordered through Verizon, and FedEx let me presign through Delivery Options.

cancelled my Walmart preorder, to get it in store. Eligibility reset instantly.

picked up a 128gb white

I won the screen lottery wooo! looks great, clean bright uniform good colors and white whites and solid blacks. For a longevity model, this is key.

Also same AT&T deal, $0 upfront +just pay taxes on the subsidized price ($249), and $8.3 x 30 for $249 net.

Will buyout the phone after a month or two. Saddle brown 8 leather case on the way too!

Came with iOS 13.4

and curiously came with the stronger SIM ejector tool, whereas I saw others are getting the flat one that isn't made of liquid titanium whatever

my very first impressions are that white was the way to go!

Ordered at 5:01am on the 17th for a launch day delivery. Showed up with the battery completely drained (may or may not have been the cause of what happened next). Ended up bricked while trying to do the 13.4.1 update. No amount of DFU/restoring would bring it to life so it’s on its way back to Apple and they’re anticipating the replacement to arrive sometime between May 11-18, and that’s with a rush on it.

The worst iPhone purchase experience I’ve ever had, but a small part of me is still looking forward to eventually getting it (the other 99% is just disappointed and pissed).

+1. Really digging the looks of my white SE. getting old school iPod vibes. The speed is just blowing me away, everything is instant. I was expecting it to be a pretty mild bump from my 6S but so far I’m really liking it.

I returned my red SE because I didn't like the color.

Now I need to find a white one, also in 128. Did you just walk into your local Walmart? If so, did you buy it unlocked? - The reason I ask is because on Walmart's website I'm only seeing available pickup dates starting on May 4th.

called first. its carrier locked while under the financing plan. after I buy it out in a month or two, I can get it unlocked. not worried about it or in a rush anyways, don't go anywhere carrier wise.

They may have unlocked models, may be same inventory as these financing phones, just rung out differently not sure. The rep said the ones they had in stock were specifically for financing. ymmv

Loving the white. That's what I have coming as well!

I got the white also. Looks beautiful. I put the white Apple silicon case on it as well. Love the color combo. Matches my SS Apple Watch series 5 with white band well also.

I’m really digging the smaller size and loving the Touch ID again. I had no issues with Face ID on my other devices. I just forgot how much I enjoyed Touch ID after not having it for so long. I actually prefer Touch ID.

The size of the SE is what I most enjoy this far. So happy to have a smaller device again.
