Yeah, not sure what the question is. I thought I answered it? The air was considered but I wanted a single device, LTE, touch screen, pencil support, great battery life, etc. I didn't wan't a "computer". I wanted a tablet. It fit better for me.
Sorry maybe I’m being unclear—though I’m trying my best. I understand the iPad best fit your needs. The question was, why at one point did you consider the MacBook Pro but not the MacBook Air (which is like a MBP with more portability like an iPad)? In other words, the MBA seemed closer to your needs than a MBP did—even though both weren’t as good of a fit as the iPad—but the MBA wasn’t mentioned as ever being considered while the MBP was mentioned. Was there something that ruled the MBA out from being on the decision table along with the MacBook Pro and iPad?
If that doesn’t make sense it’s ok, we’ll just let it go and I apologize for the confusion. It’s a really tiny question anyway.
But you say you did consider it, so my question is now at least half answered, thanks.

Most likely a rhetorical question to push a personal agenda. All too common around here.

I’ve been considering selling my MacBook Pro and iPad Pro and getting a 3rd gen iPad Pro with iOS 13. So I’d use an iPhone XS Max and an iPad Pro. I’m just curious if anyone else has?
I sold my 2015 MacBook last year and decided to go with the 11” iPad Pro. I can honestly say there is nothing I can’t do with this I couldn’t do with the MacBook. I use it way more because now that I’ve moved to ATT TV streaming I actually use it to watch a lot of my TV as well. It’s an incredible device.

the only negative I had was I have the pencil and for whatever reason when it was charging the screen would become non-responsive at times. However, since iOS 13 that’s completely gone away so it must have been a software issue.
