Hello everybody,

does anybody know if this has been fixed in the 1.13 patch?

if yes, have people had difficulty installing this patch as it won't download when using the x3100 beta patch?

Thanks

I'd be curious to know if the incorporated the x3100 patch in the 1.13 patch...might just have to login to BattleNet and download the client and see...

No joy for me; downloaded the client directly from my Battle Net account, installed fine, but when I go to launch it crashes. Tried multiple times.

Update 1: I just noticed that the downloadable client is still only 1.12. I'm going to try downloading the patch and see if that helps.

Update 2: Downloaded the patch manually, applied it, and we're good to go! Thanks, Blizzard!!!

What a beautiful thread this is...

Before I make a new threat I thought you guys/girls could help me here. I recently dusted of my Diablo series and wanted to play a bit. But there has been said so much about D2 and mac's I do not know anymore what has been fixed or not....

I was hopeful when I read the most recent patch notes:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Diablo II Version History
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Patch 1.13c
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Video improvements for Intel Mac machines with OS 10.5 or greater.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Patch 1.12
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Fixed an incompatibility between Rosetta and OpenGL mode on Intel Mac.

My setup:
-MacPro (NVidea 7300 GT)
-Snow Leopard 10.6.3
-Clean Install Diablo LOD with the brand new patch 1.13c

Problem:
-Graphic glitches in fullscreen OpenGL mode (unplayable).

All works well in windowed mode or in software render mode... but we want the best effects and perspective mode, don't we...?

Well thanks to Blizzard for still supporting this game but... it would be nice to have it working completely.

Any thoughts on this? Or even a fix?

Thanks all!

fixed

yeah the real problem with penryn macs not being able to play diablo was fixed probably about a year or so ago. (Thank goodness)
Runs just fine now, enjoy your d2.

no problem at all.

..eh... Thanks for the reply! But do you two mean you play OpenGL mode on your intel 10.6 machines?

If so... what did you do? My clean installs won't run like that...

Thanks!

Just for the record: I can play D2 in software render mode.
