Or maybe you are not accepting the difference between objective and subjective. However to your own point the pros at cnet.

Seriously grow up. I can't believe how much you are showing yourself on how biased you are on the apple side. This is ridiculous. The facts are out there and you continue to make up stuff to try and change peoples thinking. It is not subjective, it is a fact the note 7 is better than the iPhone 7 plus this time around. If anyone denies that, they need to get their head checked.

I've had my JB7+ for a week and it's an awesome device.

The loss of the headphone hasn't really had an impact on me at all. Battery life seems bottomless. It's so damn fast and responsive as well.

Not considering any android phones, but considering the Note 7 debacle, if I was I would be all over the Pixel XL.

I just used scroll capture to save a long recipe that would have been a pain to take individual screen shots of. I'll be using scroll capture to save my Facebook pages before I delete them and permanently delete my account.

I've been using my Note 7 a lot as a pocket computer, just as I had planned. It's also a great media device and I like how web pages look on it.

The battery needs to be charged about once every 24 hours. It's actually been pretty good, actually a bit better than I've been getting from my SE since installing ios10 on it...a decision I sometimes regret and sometimes appreciate, depending on the circumstances.

I'm sure you have many legitimate criticisms of the Note 7, as you've already stated, but can we please retire the cracks about it exploding? Not that that isn't also a legitimate issue but it's becoming a cheap throwaway insult the way most people use it. Just as wisecracks about the headphone jack on iPhones have become, or the hissing problem. I've stopped snapping about the headphone jack sometime ago because I know snark on that is getting old for people who would rather move on and discuss other things about iPhone 7. Which reminds me, I need to amend the snark out of my signature!

I don't think it's worth debating with someone who's chief argument is "it sucks" It's just difficult to have intelligent conversations when it stoops to that level.

Seems like you are only reconfirming what has been mentioned earlier at https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...hone-for-android.2003413/page-6#post-23666976

Having married into a very large family with a wealth of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and all of their assorted friends, I am used to talking to the 2-24 year age group, where even among the best and brightest of them, hormonally induced mood shifts and the accumulated stress of passing through so many ages and stages often result in very stilted communication.

However, at around age 25, apparently there is usually an awakening of heretofore unused brain synapses that takes place and expression expands beyond a shrug, a frown and "That sucks," or a grin and "Whoa, awesome!" ;) In anticipation of this happy event, it is my habit to make every attempt to give my best effort at communication to everyone, even strangers on the internet, in the hope that they will attempt to reciprocate when they are willing and able. (Well, at least after my morning coffee or tea kicks in. Until that happens, I'm a knuckle dragging cavewoman, myself, when it comes to communication.).

Lol classic post, worthy of being a sticky in all these threads. I can sum up this, and every single thread like this in 2 sentences: "I prefer my phone" and "I prefer my phone" There you have it ladies and gentleman, hundreds of threads and pages, insults, fighting, fact checking, trolling, all summed up in 2 sentences. Macrumors I'll expect a check for the bandwidth I've saved you.

Even though that's really what it all comes down to, the issue there is that in enough cases at least some of those people feel that it's not enough to prefer their phone and talk about preferring it, but to also try to make sure that others have that same view and to make it clear that any other view is simply unacceptable.

No point in it mate. These Apple *insert ******* word here* have their head buried in the sand refusing to accept the possibility that a certain Korean company actually has surpassed Apple in many aspects .I personally am purchasing the iPhone 7 plus this week and I acknowledge the fact that when it comes to camera and display quality along with design Note 7 wipes the floor with Apple. However I believe that Apple destroys Note 7 when it comes to integration, battery life and overall support along with higher quality apps

Wrong, even in that article of CNET, or in the video, they said the one testing it was not a pro photographer.

Those are best left ignored, they will eventually run out of steam with no fuel.

I have "liked" this post but thought it worthy of so much more. Brilliant, I look forward to further (post coffee) posts.

Well isn't sales an ultimate metric? best is a personal decision but you can infer what people view as best or least worst by sales numbers across competing brands.
So after all the benchmarks and scientific evidence Displaymate had backing up their analysis, they are subjective?Yet something as vague as more sales is objective?

After all these years I still can't understand why some people seem to get into a religious fervor over their freaking phone brand. Seriously it's a product.

Anyways I just switched to iPhone from Android so objectively iPhone is now the better device ;)
