iPhone Anyone try unlocked a CDMA 4s w/ the 5.1.1 jailbreak?

I have sucessfully unlocked my Verizon ip4s to tmobile using Gevey ultra S. The problem that I have is weak signal, one or two bars, and sometimes no service. Does anyone have similar problem and how do you go about solving it? Thank you for all ya help.

I think your GSM antenna is damaged or Gevey SIM is damaged. You might need to change the connector piece. There is actually no way to test it without doing a full restore, which you can't do unless you have 5.1.1 shsh still saved. If the problem recurs, then you know it's an antenna issue or Gevey issue.

does the phone HAVE to be activated first? Is there a cheap and easy way to do this?
