you cant make a US account unless you have a valid US chipping address and credit card. However if you go to cheaper-tunes.com there's a way to create one, it's 2.50 to purchase the ability to do it and you need to purchase a $50 itunes voucher (which is currency converted to cheaper £s). All vouchers must be purchased from the site too you cant pay by credit card on the store. It does mean you get a hell of a lot more content though.

I don't know yet, but it looks like it's more limited. For example, it doesn't look like it'll control Front Row or EyeTV.
I konw this doesnt fit in here but does anyone remember among all the app store hullaballoo that its been 2 HOURS since MMe was supposed to be launched and it still hasnt!!!

How exactly do you use it? I say "Add Library" and it tells me to click my phone under Devices, but it never shows up there. I'm on the right network... does it have to be plugged in for the initial setup or what?
I've just entered my log-in details and it's trying to log me in - very slow so far though. I can see the icons on the top of the page and nothing else.
I have iTunes accounts in 2 countries. I have bought music with both accounts and that music works well in iPod touch. So I think you can sync the iPhone with only one computer / iTunes, but there isn't strict limit for accounts (as long as the iTunes is authorized for all accounts).
They are probably still working out the kinks. I might get a me account if its good.
