Wow, surprised Apple has made some and are charging for them, such as Apple Texas hold'em (£2.99 in UK). I just hope that I can get an iPhone tomorrow to test these babies out!

I can easily see my pocket change drying up very quickly over the coming weeks  ;)

EDIT: Interestingly, looking at the release dates, it appears that some apps have been hiding on the store since 2 July!

I'd give it a couple of weeks for buying anything other than the games. A lot of those application prices must surely come down, once the developers realise people just wont pay 3 quid to tap someones face instead of their name when calling favourites.

2 questions -
1 - can you prebuy apps in the UK via the store, then get an iPhnone tomorrow with the apps you want already lined up? would be great f you coudl

2 - I have an itunes account, but also now have a trial mobileme/.mac one - is there a way of merging them? they seem to be different

Has anyone seen if a salling clicker app is on the store... that's the one I'm really waiting for.

Crash Bandicoot isn't available in the UK... really disappointed by that one... I wonder why that is?!

Yeah me too very disipointed and the Ebay app as well is not in the UK as the Google App either

Texas Hold'em is a great game. I have it on my iPod Classic. Although the Classic version is a 49Mb download, the iPhone/Touch version is 128Mb. But they've added multiplayer support so I suppose that's more than doubled its size...

Is there a way to search all apps by price? In other words, I would like to list all of the apps available, from most expensive to least expensive. Does anyone see whether that is possible? Thank you.

There's a kazillion apps in there - I can't see how people can be disappointed just yet. The apps are submitted by programmers, so you should write to ebay and ask them to make one.

1 - Yes, buy all the apps you want NOW!, sync them when you buy your iPhone.

2 - I have an itunes account, but also now have a trial mobileme/.mac one - is there a way of merging them? they seem to be different

2 - They should be the same, if they're not when the 60 day trial is up and it asks you for a CC, you'll use your Apple ID (iTunes Account).

Already have and they adv that its up to developers and their is no law against it. Oh well ill just buy US itunes card :)

2 things.

1) How much do US iTunes cards cost in Australia anyway... I've heard of a market for foreign iTunes cards.

2) How many accounts can you sync an iPhone with? Probably only one.

3) In that case, if you buy a US iTunes card, you'll probably have to create a US account (I don't know if you can redeem a US code in an Australian account), and every app is wrapped in FairPlay DRM tied to your account.
