2.0 is supposed to be released today according to Steve Jobs. Apple decided to release everything a day early. This is why we have iTunes 7.7 already.

A few more hours to go and we will all have 2.0 and then we can add the apps to our iPhones.

The above was for people insisting that 2.0 is coming out Friday.

Looks like downloading is working now...its cool it places the icon on your screen with a download status bar in it.

Did anyone's application thing disappear from their new itunes? How do we get the apps to the iphone or is that what we have to wait for 2.0 for?

I've been messing with the apps on my touch this mornign and well yeh all seems good to me.

a funny one on the english store called iPint by carling, you have to tilt the ipod/iphone to stop a pint slipping off the bar and into the guys hands at the end of the bar.

There are also about 4 english to translators from lastminute.com, looking at it though it said to me your screwed when it comes to them responding lol.

IGN has also released an app for game reviews which I thought was sweet.

2.0 is needed to run the apps

I'm confused... how are you using yours on your touch?

I don't care if it's 0.99, I'm not paying for a flashlight!!

Yeah, that's pretty gay that they're charging for a friggin' flashlight. I'll probably head back to iPhone Katie's version, which was just a full-screen image of a black-to-white gradient.

Edit:
BTW, here's a free one. http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=282772074&mt=8

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)

25% of the Apps are free. That is awesome.
