I really hope MLB doesn't decide to charge monthly for their at bat application, the description says it will deliver video for the rest of the 2008 season.

no subscription charge. it's not mlb.tv on your phone (although i can see that being a free app to subscribers), it's only instant video highlights and scores/stats/standings. $5 flat.

Ddi they take the Apps down? I just dloaded 7.7 and the interface on the itunes store does not have apps

App Store Link

The entry on Macrumors says you can't access the store without a link...

Not sure if anyone has posted this, but at the bottom of the Applications section in iTunes 7.7 is a "Get more Applications" link. Now everyone has access :)

You have to go to preferences.

Yea that's what I imagined it would be, the description just sounded a bit weird.

how do i install this?

YOU WILL LOSE ALL DATA! Ok, download the file and then in itunes click your iphone in the left sidebar. If you are on a Mac ctrl and click the restore on the iPhone page (Windows shift and click) and then select the ipsw file. :D

Apps are one thing that'll likely convince me to get an iPhone. I was just browsing the App Store and found a few things I've been wanting. One thing that I don't see, however, is an ssh client. I know that ssh clients are available for the current iPhone but they require you to jailbreak the phone first. Does anybody have any idea if/when an ssh client might be made available through the App Store so one wouldn't need to go the route of jailbreaking?
